Bull & Bourbon is a cut above other steakhouses – literally. Our innovative approach to classic steakhouse cuisine makes for a multi-sensory experience. Enjoy steaks prepared on our custom wood burning grill paired with our extensive and hand-selected bourbon menu for flavors that beautifully complement each other. Because we source local coastal California seafood, use steaks cut from our in-house butcher program, and choose select cuts from our on-site aging room, we always start with top-quality ingredients to create mouthwatering dishes. My husband and I were disappointed. We ordered the surf & turf special. My husband’s steak was cold, and my steak was very rare even though I asked for medium. By the time the steak came back out after I told them, we had finished the rest of the meal. The knives they have are so dull I had to saw the meat to cut it…I asked for a sharper knife but it was just as dull. I took the steak home. My dogs will have kibbles and turf for breakfast. On a bright note the waitress was really nice.

We got the prime rib specials. One was good and one was not. We ended up just sharing the one. Mine was a terrible cut of meat or was somehow dried out. I don’t think it was overcooked because it was still pink. It didn’t have any tenderness or juice at all. The sides of zucchini and mashed potatoes were excellent.

Nice, loungey steak house was very accommodating for a large group like our table for 8. The wait staff were gracious and attentive. Overall food and presentation down to plate and utensil/cutlery changing was impeccable. Banana Fosters prepared tableside was addictive -highly recommended!

I’ve been many times before, and have always had such a great time. However, this time around has truly had me question if it was worth returning. We made reservations for prime rib night, and understandably they sold out. We opted for porterhouse-the manager comes to our table 20 minutes after we’ve already ordered to tell us that they’ve ran out. Waiting 20-30 minutes for each round of drinks… not worth it.

The hostess wasn't dressed appropriately for the restaurants environment and wasn't very friendly. We were offered the Tomahawk special, but by the time our waiter came back to take our order the only 1 for the night had already been ordered. Was bummed and had to shift gears. It was our anniversary and nobody mentioned anything to us. We have defiantly had much better experiences in the past at Bull and Bourbon.
