Welcome to Bugis Kitchen, where we pay homage to the legendary hawker stands on Singapore's Bugis Street.

Bugis Street's history dates back to the early 19th
century when it was primarily a residential area
inhabited by the Bugis people, seafaring traders from
the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. The Bugis were
known for their maritime skills and played a significant
role in trade across Southeast Asia.
Today, Bugis Street continues to thrive as a dynamic
shopping and entertainment district in Singapore. It is
home to modern malls. boutiques, restaurants, and
bars, offering a mix of traditional and contemporary
experiences. The area has retained it cultural charm
while embracing urbanisation and modernity.

Myself and my mum had a lovely meal, the food and service in the restaurant is always 10/10, we always pop in for our favourite hot and sour soup when we stay over at the Copthorne. Looking forward to next time!

THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE MENU HAD LIMITED CHOICE

Genuine south eastst asian cuisine. Great food. Service is better than before but can still get better.

We used to enjoy the food at this hotel. We booked and when we arrived there was no one at the restaurant to greet us. We had to get the security man to find someone so we could get our food order in! Food quality has definitely deteriorated. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately not the best experience. Staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. Food came out in all different order. Curry came but no rice to eat it with for another 15mins. By then cold. They seemed like they were all new, none of them knew anything about the dishes. Some were rude if you asked them anything. Just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Been before 10years ago good was still about the same. But the service was non existing. Which had an impact on the food as u can't have a curry without the rice. By then was cold. The starters came with no sauces. When I asked for the sauce with the spring rolls. She asked me back what do you want. I'm like spring rolls come with sweet chilli sauce. She looked clueless. Personally the food was nice tasting let down by the service and staff.

The place is nice , however the service was very poor ..After placing our drinks order cocktails came 35 mins later .. some food ok , Hainiase chicken was terrible , no taste , taste like boiled chicken , no seasoning ….sorry wouldn’t return again ..also made error on the bill

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is well appointed although the air con was a tad fierce. Waiter was a little unsure (brought the wrong wine). When the time came to pay the bill there were several incorrect items. Would advise checking your bill carefully (similar problem in the bar). Despite this would certainly eat there again as the food was so good.

Excellent Venue for Dining lunch , dinner or afternoon tea. My husband & I go there often for Dinner at least once a week. Also for functions that are held at this Venue. The food is excellent and the ambience and the service.
