Although I have passed it many times, this was the first time dining at Buckley's. My wife and I made reservations for the bar area. There appear to be two bars and we were seated at the smaller of the two. Our server, Regan, was friendly and knowledgeable. My wife had a Pinot Noir, which she liked. I ordered their Old Fashioned with Amaro. I liked it but would probably stick with a regular Old Fashioned next time. The herbs in Amaro can sometimes be overwhelming and this was right on the edge. We ordered the Caprese Salad to share. The tomatoes were ripe and plentiful and the Burrata and Basil were also tasty. They served the salad with a grilled Foccacia flat bread. My wife ordered the Pork Chop with Chimichurri. It was excellent with a nice tasting glaze. The Chimichurri had a pleasant kick. After consultation with Regan, I went with the Scallops with Corn Puree. This was a great selection along with Regan's recommendation of the Albarino wine to go with it. Dessert was Key Lime Pie which was also excellent and light enough so that we did not feel too full. An extra bonus in my eyes was the availability of Grappa at the end of the meal. I had the Nebbiolo based Grappa. They also had a Muscato based Grappa available. I have always wanted to try Buckley's and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back again.

We got the focaccia, lamb, steak, and lobster pasta and everything was fantastic. Cooked exactly how we asked and very tasty. A great selection of drinks including spirit-free and mocktails. Overall the ambiance was great and the service was fast and friendly!

The ambience makes this a place you want to be for dinner. It was beautiful. The food was “okay” especially for the price was expecting something a little more. The appetizers were very good but the entrees, were meh and there wasn’t a kids menu to speak of, they can do a burger or butter noodles. The service was great up until we got our food, at which point it took at least 30 minutes to get a box and the check. I probably wouldn’t come here again just due to the price and quality of food, I’m not sure it’s worth it. Cute place though!

A great little spot in downtown! Loved the atmosphere. Food and service were fantastic! Would definitely return. Great for a nice date night or out with friends.

Comfortable spot with a great menu, right in downtown MKE! Solid menu with a good range of options and some great specials, Buckley’s is a solid choice.

We had a lovely dinner. Service was amazing, food was great, and we appreciated the grass-fed beef options. We will definitely be back.

Overall we enjoyed our entrees and visit to Buckley’s. The pork chop was delicious and, while the salmon-Thai infused entree- was also delicious, we had requested that it be prepared “med well” and it was still very pink. It was redone but ..still…for the price of the entree, we expected more from the service and preparation. The ambiance is very comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend for the right occasion
