Menu selection and food quality has declined in recent months while prices have increased. We left disappointed this time.

Buca D’Oro has been a revelation for the pre-theater crowd for the three years which it has operated, after succeeding La Buca. The Italian entrees are uniformly well-prepared, particularly seafood. However last Thursday I enjoyed a wonderful veal offering which was tender and delicious with generous portions of veal in a delicate cream sauce with just the right amount of garlic. The entree also included a generous serving of angel hair which was perfectly prepared. What was also impressive was the fact that the servers respect the fact that you are dining before the theater and they promptly serve you dinners with plenty of time to spare. All together a consistently excellent restaurant which I would recommend for all occasions.

We have been happy customers for decades, even thru ownership changes. It’s our favorite pre-show place to dine. Tonight’s experience was sub-par. Our reservation was for 5:45. We had salads served in a timely fashion but our dinner (or I should say 3 out of 4 meals) arrived over an hour later. The 4th meal arrived 15 minutes after that and was served scorched. Our server was kind but inattentive. We were celebrating a birthday but had to leave prior to dessert in order to make our show. Not a great experience despite the fact we were comped (upon request) for the scorched salmon that arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes after the order was placed. Despite all, we will come back, perhaps it was just an off night, and hope for the return of the good food and attentive service we’ve become accustomed to.

Love the ambiance, felt like I stepped into a restaurant in Italy! So cozy and the staff was very attentive. Great for a group or just for a date!

There wasn't that many peope there at Noon today, but we were greeted by the service and seated immediately. Had wonderful Italian chicken Orzo soup and I ordered the Veal Marsala and my wife had the chicken marsala. We really enjoyed it along with extra fresh made bread for dipping. No dessert today but highly recommend for either lunch or dinner.

Service was SOOOOO SLOW! I had to find someone to get us a 2nd drink and by the time we left? The couple next to us still didn’t have their food!
