Birthday dinner for my sister. We ordered a couple of pizzas, pasta, soup and broccoli everything came out hot and fresh, she definitely enjoyed her birthday dinner.

We had a great time. Our waitress was amazing and the food was just as good. My daughter's 17th birthday dinner was the best.

The food was amazing today at Buca. The service was also very good. We ordered chicken Parma with spaghetti (best and freshest spaghetti I’ve ever had at any Buca), meatball, baked ziti and lasagna; they were all so good. The one thing that was strange was the music. They were blaring Tejano music from the kitchen! I thought at first it was Italian, but of course, is wasn’t! I like that kind of music in the right place, but not at an Italian restaurant. We said something and they turned on the Muzak pop music and didn’t turn down the kitchen Tejano! So, then we had both Muzak pop AND Tejano battling each other! It was hard to have conversation with this going on! Oh well, the food and service were great. Get the music figured out! I know the kitchen staff likes music while they’re working. I worked in a kitchen. They just need to turn down their music so it’s only heard in the kitchen. That said, the food was great and that’s the main thing. I asked for a table away from the kitchen in my Open Table instructions. Obviously, the hostess didn’t read any of my instructions.

Disappointed again. This used to be a favorite birthday spot. This was the 2nd time my birthday reservation was ignored by the host, manager, server. The check was brought halfway through the meal, and the server did indeed bring items promptly, but not as ordered. Asked for more butter for the bread, instead got 2 new loaves of bread. Ordered salad with 3 changes, got only one. Tea with no ice came with extra ice. And dropping the check halfway through the meal was just astounding since I made 2 notifications of a birthday at my table. Such a strange experience. When a person notifies management/ reservations etc of a birthday it puzzles me how that gets ‘forgotten.’

Great fun! Service and atmosphere is great. They are kind to sing birthday songs. Nice place for group dinner.

Lots has changed. Amount of food has decreased but price increased. The quatro didn’t was dry and tasteless. The apple Gorgonzola salad excellent just smaller now and didn’t feed what is used to. Stuffed mushrooms excellent. I put on our reservation we were celebrating a birthday but out waitress brought food and we didn’t see till meal over and received check. I wanted to surprise the birthday girl not call it out in front of her when we were ready to leave.
