Food was good. Service was OK. Extremely noisy, but I guess this is a "group" type of place to eat.

It has been several years since we last went to Buca. I can see from this visit why they are going bankrupt. The quality of the food has fallen dramatically. It is very generic American style Italian without any hint of true Italian flavor, i.e. the herbs and spices are sparse and low grade. The tomatoes taste canned. The Italian sausage tastes stale. And considering that we paid nearly $35 per person in total, that is not acceptable. There are far better family style Italian restaurants around, especially mom&pop places that support local communities. We've been to every Buca in the LA area over the years. But Brea will be the last one we ever go to.

First timers, so family style was new to us. Party of four not heavy eaters. We brought a lot of food home. When we return, 1 small pasta, 1 small entree would be sufficient. Food was top notch.

The food is a bit overpriced but the atmosphere was nice and the service was outstanding.

Super great food. Loved our waitress. Only complaint was the table text to ours was very loud and even the waiter that was serving them was very loud and obnoxious. It was my boyfriends birthday and “no one was available to sing” which was ridiculous because that was one of the main reasons why we wanted to to Bucca was because of that lol

The servers were soo friendly! The atmosphere is very exciting! I don’t normally enjoy super loud places, but even with the big groups of very loud patrons, I had a great time.
