Located in the heart of Oakville's shopping and cultural district, Buca di Bacco is a great place to enjoy a meal after a day out on the town with friends, family or special someone. In addition to it's authentic fare, the restaurant also offers an extensive menu of hand-picked vintage and world class wines for guests to enjoy.

Fabulous experience. The service was excellent !! The greeting at the door made me feel like they appreciated me coming in. Food was very good and things were brought out in a timely manner. Everyone was pleasant and communicated throughout the evening, answering all questions regarding specials and choices. The pleasant experience will keep me coming back.

Had a nice little dinner before a show at Oakville Arts Centre. Cute and cosy venue on entering. Servers were friendly and attentive. Our pasta dishes were flavourful and d nicely sized. Wine and lattes were perfect! Only thing missing was some nice crusty bread to go with the pasta! Enjoyable time!

As usually the food and service was exceptional. Unfortunately, very loud people sat next to our table therefore a bit noisy when they were there. Not restaurants fault.

This is my first choice for Italian food in the downtown area of Oakville, though there are quite a number of excellent and popular choices. The food is always top notch, I find the prices are lower than restaurants with similar quality, and there is a very friendly personal vibe coming from the owner (usually present and involved in setting the tone) and the staff.

This was my third visit, and it was a very pleasant experience. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes offered. The food was tasty (I had lamb shank, which was a special for the night, and I had a very delicious bread pudding for dessert). The ambiance is nice, but I got tired of the guitarist who was performing, because he was just doing leads over a sample of a chord progression, and it was monotonous. He was skilled, but songs have a structure for a reason, and when a Phish fan feels you've been milking the song for too long, you probably have. Nevertheless, I was there for the food and the service, which were quite enjoyable. Overall, I feel it was a 5 star experience, and I will return.
