Located in the heart of Oakville's shopping and cultural district, Buca di Bacco is a great place to enjoy a meal after a day out on the town with friends, family or special someone. In addition to it's authentic fare, the restaurant also offers an extensive menu of hand-picked vintage and world class wines for guests to enjoy.

Guests can substitute any pasta with homemade gluten-free quinoa pasta. Finish the meal with a sweet dessert like chocolate focaccia bread pudding, polenta cake or espresso affogato.

This is my first choice for Italian food in the downtown area of Oakville, though there are quite a number of excellent and popular choices. The food is always top notch, I find the prices are lower than restaurants with similar quality, and there is a very friendly personal vibe coming from the owner (usually present and involved in setting the tone) and the staff.

This was my third visit, and it was a very pleasant experience. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes offered. The food was tasty (I had lamb shank, which was a special for the night, and I had a very delicious bread pudding for dessert). The ambiance is nice, but I got tired of the guitarist who was performing, because he was just doing leads over a sample of a chord progression, and it was monotonous. He was skilled, but songs have a structure for a reason, and when a Phish fan feels you've been milking the song for too long, you probably have. Nevertheless, I was there for the food and the service, which were quite enjoyable. Overall, I feel it was a 5 star experience, and I will return.

Excellent food and service. However, the floors are all wooden and there is no fabric (rugs etc) to mitigate the sound from the relatively few customers that were lunching today. Not a spot for a quiet meal, but service and food were very good (especially, the oysters!)

A group of 4 went for a birthday celebration. It was our first time. Everything was super. The food was terrific, especially the tuna carpaccio starter. Our server, Monica (I think) was attentive to our needs and always had a smile and pleasant attitude. Thank you. The gentleman, who I think was the manager, was not in a good mood and it showed. Hope his day brightened later.

The calamari was probably the best I’ve had. The food was really good and the service was great. It was my first visit but I will be back again soon.

The Best Italian Restaurant in all of Oakville and possibly Ontario !!! Unbelievable and ever tasting food, drinks, and delicious desserts, great venue with amazing patio super clean and well taken care off, from live band to give you romantic vibe is perfected to make amazing memories and beyond caring staff, Thank you Carol making our evening special and the overall experience unbelievable and enjoyable as well to all staff that took care of as, Bravo to Buca owners !!! As you should be proud of what have you achieved 10 /10 . Perfecto !!!

Great dinner Anthony was warm & welcoming upon our arrival! Great good All of enjoyed our lovely meal Canollis we’re amazing Only thing negative I could possible say was we found it chili inside Thinking the ac was turned a bit too high Thank you for a most enjoyable meal

Loved the restaurant however the live music (although he was very good) was way too loud. Not enjoyable when you have to yell to hear the other people at your table.
