Award-Winning Brutus Restaurant & Seafood Market is a restaurant which offers a range of signature sandwiches, salads and dinners with unique daily specials, and features a fresh seafood market. We carry only the freshest local seafood from the Florida Keys. All of our meals are made on site from proprietorial menus, we even smoke our own meats.

Come visit us AND BRING YOUR PETS! We are licensed to allow your companion animals. You can choose to sit in air-conditioned comfort inside, or enjoy the breeze outside under our exceptional Tiki Hut, or choose our Patio seating. TV's are mounted so you can view if you care to. We offer Dine-in, Take out, and Catering.

Wonderful, local seafood market and restaurant. Limited seating, so make a reservation. Mostly picnic tables and some tables/chairs, but nice and clean. Kid friendly atmosphere and menu. Staff were helpful and kind. Food was excellent! Best fried seafood in the area (whole fried yellowtail 😋)! Surprisingly, the sides were homemade and as tasty as the seafood (potato salad, coleslaw, etc.)! Will definitely return!

The food is really good here, with several freshly caught fish choices. Two sides were included in the platters: I recommend the potato salad and grilled asparagus (really!). There are some problems with the kitchen and service, however. Our server was really nice and helpful, recommending a great beer on tap, but the kitchen got our orders wrong—the sides were all mixed up and the fish was not the one I ordered, and came fried instead of blackened. The server apologized, and said she would discount our check, but she didn’t. The hostess was really rude. We had made a reservation, but she didn’t care or check us in. She just said it was first come first serve. Her overall demeanor was unfriendly, and she made it clear that she would rather be anywhere else than talking to us or doing her job.

The chowder was not chowder- it was broth. The crab cakes were thin and over-cooked.

Fish was fresh. I liked the layout, eating outside(there was indoor option, too).Staff was friendly. Even had live music.
