BRU IS AN ODE TO OUR LOVE, THE BURGER. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

BRU Burger Bar has become one of our favorite Bloomington restaurants. Excellent fare, service and ambiance. Well managed. Highly efficient. Clean. A true neighborhood gem.

Great restaurant with good food and service. Parking can be a challenge even though it was not very crowded. Would have liked to see a better wine list

Service and the food are always great!! They’ve added to their menu and those options do not disappoint.

This is a bad /good review. Had a reservation. Arrived a few minutes early and seated. Ordered food and waited almost 50 minutes. Finally went to the manager and informed him we were leaving. So initial service was bad. He did make it right by going to the kitchen and putting a burger in a to go bag and comped it. Probably just a bad night. It the burger was good when I finally ate it.

The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact they took the Melt your Face off the menu. Bring back the habanero cheese!!!

Always a great experience! They’ve added new items to the menu and we highly recommend the new Southern burger! It was delicious and probably a new go to! The staff and manager are always beyond friendly and attentive.
