We pay tribute to the rugged individualism of Pensacola’s unique historic cultural significance, specifically its Spanish influence. Real and super-rustic, the kitchen presents Old World cookery at its roots, with all the layers peeled back. Brother Fox utilizes a live-fire approach to cooking almost everything that we serve, from coal-roasted oysters to Carne Asada for two, served with hot tortillas. Our beautiful outdoor seating sets the stage for a casual meet up with friends for a glass of wine from regions near and far, carafes of Bathtub Gin or Sangrias from the bar. Inside, the cuisine and casually elegant design are the embodiment of a “neighborhood” spot that caters to visitors and residents alike, for special occasions, celebrations, and some of the finest wood-fired cuisine in Pensacola. Imagine food with soul, both exciting and traditional, in a breezy setting, right in the heart of Old East Hill.

Excellent service and atmosphere… really made our night… the food was good but $70 for glorified fajitas (carne asada) … 🤦‍♀️ it was good but definitely not amazing or out of this world… so disappointed by that… The Cocktails were the highlight of our meal… The bartender truly has a gift ❤️

Per usual the experience was fantastic. Amazing service from start to finish. The charcuterie board with Pt Reyes Blue Cheese and Manchego were my husbands and my favorite. We shared the roast chicken and it was super flavorful. The caramel peach bread pudding put us over the edge but it was well worth it. Always an amazing experience

We enjoy the experience every time we visit brother Fox! Food was delicious, loved the Sangria, service was excellent, and it’s always great to enjoy the bold flavors and dishes of chef Darian!

My husband and I spent an evening out at Brother Fox to get away from the stressfulness of a family vacay, and it was the perfect respite for a couple's date night. The food was by FAR the best we had the entire time we were in Pensacola and the service was absolutely top-notch. I'm still thinking about how delicious their charbroiled oysters and red snapper dishes were - like, melt in your mouth good. Their staff went above and beyond to make our night memorable. I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for a more quiet and intimate night out where you'll be absolutely spoiled from the moment you enter the door.

We keep coming back for amazing drinks (NA & A), the scrumptious Chicken dinner and Churros for desert. Carne Asada dinner is excellent too. At some point we will order a different entree! At least we mix up the Appis and with that game plan we leave with a lot of yummy left overs too!! Brunch is great too. Obvi we highly recommend!

Overall a very enjoyable experience. The appetizers we ordered (grilled octopus, pan con tomate, and wagu carpaccio) were the highlight of the meal. Perfectly complemented each other. We ordered the seafood paella for two. The portion was huge! All the ingredients were tender and the rice was perfectly aldente. Just a touch too salty.
