We pay tribute to the rugged individualism of Pensacola’s unique historic cultural significance, specifically its Spanish influence. Real and super-rustic, the kitchen presents Old World cookery at its roots, with all the layers peeled back. Brother Fox utilizes a live-fire approach to cooking almost everything that we serve, from coal-roasted oysters to Carne Asada for two, served with hot tortillas. Our beautiful outdoor seating sets the stage for a casual meet up with friends for a glass of wine from regions near and far, carafes of Bathtub Gin or Sangrias from the bar. Inside, the cuisine and casually elegant design are the embodiment of a “neighborhood” spot that caters to visitors and residents alike, for special occasions, celebrations, and some of the finest wood-fired cuisine in Pensacola. Imagine food with soul, both exciting and traditional, in a breezy setting, right in the heart of Old East Hill.

The carne asada prime steak for 2 is probably one of the best steaks/deals in all of Pcola. First off, its to die for and simply a great, freakin steak with some great sauces/sides. Next, its a great deal when you get 2 lbs of steak. I like to eat a plethora of steak and we still had leftovers. Would def do this again.

This was a great find with great waiters. Cocktail and wine were great. Flexible with my allergies.

It was our first visit and the food was absolutely fantastic! We got the tuna crudo as an appetizer, the red snapper special and the pork chops. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Our only complaint was it was a little louder than we would have preferred, but it was tolerable. We look forward to coming again!

Brother Fox is one of our favorite places. The shareable plates are well proportioned and flavorful. Always fresh. Enjoyable aesthetic throughout. The specials are excellent. I tried the bread pudding on this visit. It was perfectly cooked, crispy on the edges, and not overly sweet.
