Ouvert en 2011, le Brookmans est devenu une plaque tournante pour les centres d'activités de la région autour du bar de l'île et qui se réjouit de vous servir une bonne tasse de café, une pinte convenable de bière ou un verre de champagne. Asseyez-vous au bar face à la porte, si vous voulez voir et être vus, ou trouvez un coin confortable et installez-vous dans l'un des fauteuils moelleux. Chaleureux, le restaurant est accueillant avec ses sièges revêtus de cuir vert anglais et ses abat-jours en soie faits à la main. Sur les murs, des affiches historiques de l'époque de Metroland sont accrochées, quand Brookmans Park a été construite, comme faisant partie du mouvement des jardins de banlieue extrêmement optimiste.

The Gold Room is perfect for celebrations. with its own bar, the room provides privacy from the rest of the pub. The Gold Room can accommodate up to 100 standing, or alternatively seat up to 30 guests.For smaller gatherings, our private dining room provides a hidden space, the room is tucked away just through the snug. The food was ok for some, but not everyone enjoyed theirs. The baked Alaska dessert was terrible and the service slow. To their credit they accepted our complaints, deducted the desserts from the bill and the manager actually tried the baked Alaska and came to tell us she agreed with us.

Great booth for a cosy Sunday roast with family and friends. Amazing food, my belly is now almost as big as my eyes. Both my kids enjoyed their meals, and were happy while the adults were talking. A really great atmosphere, unrushed and great value.

Went for the Tapas menu The food was amazing and we will definitely come back if they do Tapas menu again 👍

Have dined here previously and had great service and great food, but this time unfortunately the experience was very poor. Mother’s Day booking - restaurant was massively overbooked. Mix up with tables (we were moved twice) Took an hour for food to arrive, main course roast was good when it did arrive, sadly 2 x kids sausages strangely filled with way too much pepper, inedible for an adult let alone children. Dessert was unfortunately poor (another mix up apparently) and took even longer to arrive. Had to send two kids ice creams back as they arrived completely melted like soup. Lemon Meringue was liquid. Whilst eating dessert two people came in and started rearranging the layout of the room for some event and making us feel completely unwelcome. Staff trying hard in difficult circumstances, but an experience to forget and a very disappointing Mother’s Day. Previous experiences have been largely very good, so perhaps just a blip and a result of too many bookings being taken. Not sure we will return.

Again had a wonderful Sunday lunch.Excellent service friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us and very reasonable prices..looking forward to our next visit there..

Great local pub and restaurant. varied menu and additional items offered on their specials board. Large restaurant with booths and round tables, generous outside area and plenty of space for large gatherings. Staff were friendly and efficient. Toilets clean. Decor modern. Good atmosphere. All in all an enjoyable evening and would recommend it for everyone.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It was an important meeting and they were discreet and so helpful. The food was amazing and I would recommend this pub to anyone who is in the area. I will be back!
