Bronzeville Winery celebrates Bronzeville's history and modern revitalization, led by Eric Williams of The Silver Room and Cecilia Cuff of The Nascent Group. This inviting space features a rotating wine list from Women, Minority, and African American-owned labels, paired with a dynamic, seasonal menu reimagining comfort foods with house-grown greens and locally produced ingredients. The winery aims to be a cultural hub with a state-of-the-art sound system, live music, and curated art, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the South Side of Chicago. Wednesday Live is a music series program at Bronzeville Winery featuring guest artists from or based in Chicago. Each Wednesday, guests experience dinner, wine/beverages, and live music in celebration of Chicago’s vibrant and storied music scene. This series is curated by Barédu A. and Eric Williams, both musicians and creatives invested in lifting up black artists in Chicago and bringing communities together. Join us every Wednesday this month from 7-9pm for our FREE music series sponsored by Uncle Nearest. Whether you’re on the patio, bar, or dining table, music can be heard in all spaces and although reservations are encouraged, they are not required.

Service was generally slow. The core pain point was that my steak arrived to the table cold and the flavor of it left alot to be desired. No exaggeration the steak was most comparable to one you’d get from IHOP except exponentially more expensive. Another style over substance modern restaurant.

We love coming to BW. I'm so pleased that Bronzeville has its own place where we can have a fine dining meal, surrounded by friends and neighbors.

I recently dined at Bronzeville Winery, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. While the ambiance and concept is attractive, the service and overall professionalism leaves a lot to be desired. Most significant, the service was incredibly slow. We waited an excessive amount of time not only to place our orders but also to receive our food. What should have been a leisurely meal turned into a frustratingly long evening with extended gaps between courses and very little communication from the staff about the delays. We decided to In addition to the slow service, the staff, especially our waiter, seemed disorganized and lacking in basic customer service skills. Several times, I had to flag down her down for things that should have been anticipated—refilling drinks or realistic updates on our food. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of communication from both the waitstaff and management. When asked about the delays, the responses were vague and dismissive. We were told that there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, however, the restaurant was not very busy and ultimately didn’t get served until 9 pm despite having a 7:15 pm reservation. Given the wait we asked for our food to-go but was told that they ran out of to-go boxes and the best option they had was to wrap the food in aluminum foil without a container 😂. The slow service, poor attention to detail, and lack of professionalism greatly detracted from what could have been a great experience. This was my fourth time giving them a try and unfortunately the bar consistently is not met. Until these issues are addressed, I’d hesitate to recommend it to others or return.

Our waiter (Omarie) was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the wines. It was my first visit, and I was impressed. I will be returning.

Scheduled a party of eight dinner for my wife’s 30th birthday. They were responsive and accommodating to my questions and request to pay over the phone. My wife said the food was great and the service was fun and friendly! We will be back!

Great experience overall - first time doing Brunch. Service was on point, food was good, and the ambience was pleasant - not overly crowded but still had a nice buzz of patrons.

We were all hungry. We were greeted with cheer once we arrived. We had the most excellent service! We order a lot of food. The burger and fries were delicious! The grits were amazing! We had the grilled shrimp with our grits. Too good!!! The shirred baked eggs were savory and flavorful!! Chef Maurice delivered one of the dishes personally. Sous chef. Channel was hard on the job. She even took time to whip up some fresh empanadas that were to die for. Susan was floating around the restaurant delivering her cheerful personality throughout our brunch. We could not have asked for much more. Expect to be able to come back again some time soon. Thank you Bronzeville Winery for an excellent experience.

The decor, ambiance, location and vibe were all excellent! The food was not on that level, unfortunately. My dinner mate had to send her food back because it was room temperature at best. The honey chicken was very well prepared but the raw hot sauce taste was off-putting. I would patronize this place again with the hopes that they take this input seriously.
