Bristol Grill in downtown KC has been one of my go-to spots for years. The place has a great vibe—nice and quiet, making it easy to have a good conversation without having to shout over the noise. The service is always solid, and the restaurant itself looks great. That said, the weekend brunch buffet has gone downhill a bit. They’ve cut back on the options, and while the selection is smaller, the price has gone up. Honestly, it just doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I’d recommend sticking with lunch or dinner instead—both are still great, but the brunch buffet just isn’t what it used to be.

Another disappointment! This time at least they didnt run out of oysters! But the prime rib was so overcooked my mother inlaw almost broke her tooth! Manager said it would take approximately 45 mins to replace but never came out! very disappointed for a birthday celebration! Thats twice on food! Dont know if i would recommend or be back!

We had a great experience last night before an event at T-Mobile center. Harold was our waiter and did an awesome job despite covering, what seemed to be, half of the bar and outdoor tables. He was attentive, professional, and overall a great waiter! The only downside was a group who lingered around the bar and appeared to be in the staff’s way. They were angry there were no tables and the only open ones were already reserved, so they congregated at the bar and proceeded to order food while standing in the bar area and resting their plates on other patrons booths. As people who typically make reservations, we felt for the staff who had to deal with this group and work around them in addition to the other patrons who felt encroached upon. Overall, it was a great experience, we will be back, and would love to have Harold as our waiter again.

As we had an event that we were attending at 7:00PM, we had made reservations for 5:00, in order to give us time to eat and enjoy our meal before going to the event that was close by. At 5:00, it wasn't busy (yet), and we were seated promptly. The servers came to our table pretty quickly (one was in training) with menus and requests for waters and any other drinks. My wife ordered the crab cakes, I ordered the chef's special swordfish. Neither of us wanted appetizers. The meals came in good time and the presentation was very nice. The food was hot and my swordfish was cooked well and tasted awesome. The vegetable medley that surrounded the fish was also very tasty (coming from someone who is not a veggie aficionado). And, of course, even though my wife said she was stuffed from her delicious crab cakes, we HAD to share the creme brulee! Duh! The restaurant got MUCH busier in that 5:30-6:15 window, but we got out of the restaurant in plenty of time to make it to our event. The Bristol downtown is ALWAYS a must-do if we are ever downtown for an event, concert, sporting event, etc. Kudos to Bristol staff (and the valet service outside) for an incredible evening! Thanks!

Food and service was excellent. It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary desert, which was just as wonderful. We will definately be back.

Meal was ok. Nothing extraordinary. Waited 70 minutes from time seated to when dinner arrived.
