Our Dining Room and Patio are now open!!! WE ARE ALSO OFFERING CARRYOUT, CURBSIDE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY FROM 11:00 AM to 8 PM Monday thru Thursday, 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM Friday and Saturday, and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday. We are also exited to announce the return of our family and friends' favorite - the Bristol Sunday Brunch buffet. Home of the Green Chili Wontons, Louisville’s favorite guilty pleasure, Bristol Bar & Grille has been the city’s neighborhood restaurant since 1977. Original menu dishes include the classic Bristol Burger and aged, charbroiled New York Strip steak as well as new favorites like Pork Dijonnaise and Theresa’s Sweet Chili Linguine. We source ingredients from local farmers. Certified Bourbon Stewards are on staff to guide diners on selection of Kentucky’s native spirit. Bristol Bar & Grille East is located at 300 North Hurstbourne Parkway, north of Shelbyville Road. Guests can opt to sit in the traditional dining room or the outside patio.

Buffet was very disappointing! Had to ask server for scrambled eggs. Cramped area for desserts and waffles. For the price should have been an omelette station? No bagels, did not see any toast? Much cooler seated near front entrance when door opened and closed.

Celebrating birthday and server was very accommodating and friendly. Most food was good but the steak sandwiches were very plain. Wontons were excellent as usual and great burgers. Overall it was good and not crowded so we were able to be seated early and had great service.

Food quality did not meet the food cost. Thai chili pasta had potential but needed more seasoning and the amount of blacken chicken was disappointing. The open steak sandwich…. It was sad, a chewy steak on top of a tiny piece of toasted Italian bread. The burger was good. Kids pasta was fine they ate it. Fried chicken salad was a decent salad. The service was good. Didn’t have to request refills but there were times she was absent. Overall nice staff, clean appearance, but the food will not bring us back.

I treated my family to a wonderful post-Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was perfect, from the hostess’s friendly welcome, to our server’s timely attention, to drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, and bread. The Bristol is our favorite Louisville eatery, all the better because it is locally owned and operated!

My friend's veggie lasagna was tasteful but a bit over cooked. The shrimp and grits was not my fav. Theresa's sweet chili linguine was perfect as always.

4 of us for dinner. We are regulars but our friends hadn’t been in a long time. They had the barramundi fish special & the burger with bacon & both thought it was very good. Service was great, even though they were busy. I had fish tacos & shared the chicken chili & my husband had a burger & slaw. Always good!
