Briny Swine Chicago is a seaside-inspired smokehouse and oyster bar in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood featuring Carolina-style barbeque, seafood and Lowcountry classics, served with a side of sass. It’s a local joint where friends and family gather to laugh and forget about life in the big city while they get in on some Southern hospitality and good eatin'. Rosé, bourbon, cocktails and beer are aplenty...and on a steady flow.

Whether you’re on vacation, passing by after a long day of work or catchin’ the big game, Briny is that place where all are welcome, from all parts, and no one cares about the rest.

Y’all, leave your worries at the door, take a seat, enjoy fine swine, wine and oysters while listening to the sweet sounds of rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass and honkey tonk.

Server never checked in on us after we ordered. The ribs were so salty they were inedible. Everything else was just okay, but not worth what we spent.

we loved every about the place but the noise and we were there early before the band even began to play.

Great service, food comes very quickly and is good. Great to have a carolina BBQ place in Lincoln park. Live music is really nice too.

The service was not great and the food was lacking. It seems like the restaurant is twice the size that the staff can handle. I think the vibes are good with live music and I would go for a drink but not somewhere I would eat bbq in the future.

Good energy with the music and large space and creative cocktails, however many kinks need to be worked out with service and food. Forgot to bring our oysters as a starter, Smash burger description doesn’t say cheese however it does come with cheese, corn pudding was dry bread, ribs were so hard to get meat off of, and missing sides, had a lot of confusion on main course service with runners. I see potential in this place though.

It’s a new restaurant so we will give it another try after things settle down. Food was promising.

Great good, music and open windows. Appetizer came late with meal. No offer on if we needed another drink. The place was busy at 9pm. I would again.

Overall, great experience. Food coming out was somewhat slow but once it got to our table it was delicious! Great live music.
