The food was okay but the service seemed very blah when I asked the waiter if he can bring me a few lemon wedges he said there’s one under the tacos . I looked and it was just one lemon . I figured he didn’t feel up for bringing any extra by shutting me up half way through my sentence . I won’t go back here again

I’ve dined at Portside Pier Brigantine, and what a totally different experience. My husband’s steak was a very poor cut but we shrugged it off. The wedge salad was mediocre. The temp dropped significantly b/c the giant garage door was open. I had on a sweater and boots and was freezing. We were inside about as close to the kitchen as you can get, so there was nowhere to move. The dessert was what did us in. The s’more brownie came out 1/2 melted and sloppily thrown together. I care more about the taste so we dug in. It might be the first dessert we’ve never finished. The brownie was dry and burnt to the point we couldn’t eat it. I mentioned it to the server (who had been attentive up to this point), asking if it’s supposed to be almost crunchy. He replied “yeah it has a bit of crisp” and he ran our card. I guess we’ll stick to the Portside and Coronado locations!

We sat at the bar. The drinks were excellent and the service and food were outstanding. We will be back.

Great place. My favorite in the area! Food is always terrific. Matt was amazing! Great place to have New Years Dinner!
