Inspired by the many famous river crossings throughout Belgium, situated near the serene and picturesque Currumbin Creek. The Gold Coast's only Belgian restaurant & bar providing authentic, traditional Belgian cuisine together with wide selection of Belgian beers.
The venue offers a refined dining haven of Belgian delicacies five evenings a week
and charming long lunches on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Whether you plan on booking into the

Bridges MD, Belgian Dining is a fantastic restaurant. We were a table of 4 and with a toddler in a high chair. One of our party is a Belgian national and she was impressed with the authenticity of the restaurant. The meal was delicious and the mussels are the best we’ve eaten in Australia. Added to this was a wide choice of Belgian beer. While the wine list was modest, there was a good choice of wine. We loved the ambience in the courtyard and being served by the friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely go back.

Outstanding restaurant from a passionate Belgian couple. Delicious mussels, the best chips and aioli you'll ever eat and an amazing range of Belgian beers, all served in perfect condition in correct glasses. All served in a pleasant courtyard with warmth and care. If you ask, you'll be expertly guided through the various types of Belgian beer and matching them with the food. This place is a treasure

Excellent experience. Transported me. Great venue. Will go back to try more of the selection of beers. Great deserts too. Hidden gem on the gold coast.

Best meal I have had on the Gold Coast! Great service. Not the cheapest meal I have had....but worth every cent...... I will be back!

BridgesMD at Currumbin is a dining experience we would “go back for seconds.” My wife’s birthday and I looked for something a little different. The sevice was exceptional, the food was really good, the ambience good even for a colder rainy night the dining area covered in and protected and heating available. Definitely recommend this venue.

Beautiful sunny afternoon spent enjoying the wonderful seafood entrees & main course mussels all washed down with some amazing Belgian beer from the seemingly endless beer menu. A wonderful restaurant operated by a lovely, welcoming family where the service is always attentive & thoughtful. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends & family & look forward to our next visit to this European gem on the Gold Coast.

The salmon tartare was really good, great flavours. The Moule marinières were perfect. And the chocolat mousse was delicious. I highly recommend

This beautiful little restaurant is a rare find. It is a family run labour of love by a wonderful couple who are obviously experts in their field and care deeply about the quality their food and beer but even more so the overall experience. When you walk up it’s an unassuming little place on a busy corner with a couple of tables that are perfect for working your way through the extensive list of specialty Belgian beers served in their dedicated and extravagant glasses. A side at this point; ask the owners about these glasses and the lengths they have gone to procure them and they will dazzle you with their knowledge of how each of the glasses shows of the beer it is designed for. Back to the venue; you are then lead round to a beautiful covered courtyard strewn with ivy and a bubbling fountain in the background. It immediately makes you feel like you are spending a lazy evening in an enchanted courtyard in Bruges. The menu is small and meticulously chosen. You would be remiss to not order the mussels and again, ask the hosts about the care and attention that went in to choosing these. (They are fresh and still in the seawater they grew up in until the moment they turn up steaming on your plate). The frites are as good as any the Belgians are famed for. We look forward to making our way through the menu but it will be very hard not to just keep reordering the mussels washes down by draught Belgian beer. If you hadn’t gathered, we were swept away by this place and can’t believe we haven’t gone sooner, realising this has only happened as it is in such an unassuming corner of the Gold Coast. A rare find and a place I’m sure won’t be long before bookings have to be made very far in advance to secure a romantic spot in one of the best restaurants I’ve been to.
