Bringing the laid-back vibes of Oz to London, Brickwood Cafe has been serving up delicious coffee and brunch since 2013. From our humble beginnings as a small café in Clapham, we've since grown to 5 unique locations in the South West and have become a local favourite while still being 100% independent and organically grown. Back in the day, when we started, most people didn't even know what a Flat White was, let alone smashing avocados on toast! But once they tasted our freshly toasted Banana bread with a sliver of espresso butter, they were hooked. So come on in, pull up a floorboard and enjoy one of our Brickwood Cafe's one of London's most authentic Aussie brunch spots.

Brilliant little cafe, tucked away under one of the mega towers in elephant and castle. We visited for breakfast and really enjoyed our avocado 🥑 on toast, vegan yogurts. The coffee was delicious too. Possibly one of the best breakfast options in the elephant and surrounding Southwark area 👏👏👏

Lovely brunch at Brickwood! No baby change though which isn’t ideal.

I had high hopes for Brickwood but it didn't really deliver. The menus was interesting but limited. The food was certainly very edible but it really lacked flavour. Maybe the cakes and biscuits were better - we didn't try those. Service was friendly enough but a bit chaotic even though the restaurant wasn't at all busy when we arrived.

Very good. High level brunch food and quality coffee in very nice surroundings. We went as very close to War Museum and would go back. Don’t realise is next door to Southwark Playhouse also so will be back for sure. Probably best brunch in Elephant & Castle

The grilled banana bread “legend” with espresso butter is the perfect finish to our brunch session. Corn fritters and full English the butcher breakfast were highlights - don’t forget the hash nuggets with their vegan chicken salt!
