Our waitress Monique was fantastic. She gave great entree recommendations for the short ribs and fried scallops. The mussel and flatbread appetizers were also a big hit.

Great value, extensive menu and food prepared very tastefully to our satisfaction. Great service, except that the staff was way overloaded for what they could handle. Our waitress was amazing to provide the attentive service that she did. Her table assignment were way more than should be expected. Very pleased and would definitely go back, with reservations only.

If you're in Newport, you've got to go to the Brick Alley Pub. It's been a mainstay there for decades. It's one of the most popular places in town and with good reason. The drinks are creative and fabulous. Their terrific salad bar is back after a few years off during COVID. Amazing nachos, wonderful pastas, and upbeat atmosphere. You've got to make a reservation, and even if you have to wait a bit, it's well worth it.

When we visit Newport, we always hope there is room at the Brick Alley Pub. The Braised Short Rib sandwich is delicious!

It definitely has changed from when I worked there when I was in college 1984-1988 bigger for sure I think Pat plumb was a wry conservative on the dress of the staff not that what they wear is bad it is just different maybe just a sign of the times but it will always be like going home when I visit there! A true icon in Newport

Brick Alley never disappoints. I have been going to Brick Alley for over 30 years. I have never had a bad meal yet! Last night I had the filet mignon done the home style way and it was simply delicious. My husband had the baked stuffed shrimp and those were wonderful as well. Keep up the great work. 😍
