The food, service, and ambiance were all amazing. When walking into Brentwood, it is like walking into the past. The Brentwood house is filled with so much history. We would definitely go back!

Really cool vibe at this restaurant. It’s unique and fun how it’s decorated and how the rooms are split up. Beautiful property. Kind staff and incredible food!

Not sure what has happened. Used to love this place, but past three times it has not been the same. I used to recommend it, but I couldn't do that now

The ambiance was very enjoyable as the entire facility was full of charm. Service was of a good quality and staff friendly once they got going. Food was enjoyable and well prepared. On the needs improvement side, having happy hour at the bar only really limits the number of patrons that can partake. That seems to be counter productive to the purpose of the whole concept. Also, to enjoy the food offerings from either menu at the bar was difficult. The phrase,”Belly up to the bar” comes to mind. I’m 6’2” and had to stretch to get a bite.

We ate here last year and it was terrific, great service, food ambience. Apparently there is new ownership (since last August) and it was noticeable from the moment we walked arrived. They only had 2 menus for our party of 4. Our waitress was pleasant, but had virtually no knowledge of the menu and was nervous. Maybe she was new, but that didn't help. The young assistant spilled water on the floor (and didn't wipe it up), and filled one water glass to the very top. Our friends really enjoyed their meals, but my dish had 4 small scallops with 4 tiny shrimp on top, a little risotto, and 2, yes 2 pieces of asparagus. I wish them the best in their new venture, but for $200 for 4 diners, that's poor value, and we won't return.

My family looks forward to going to the Brentwood Inn every year when we come to the beach. This year was so disappointing! It took a full hour for us to receive our appetizers, and another hour after that for our dinners to arrive. In addition, no one ever brought the salads that were supposed to accompany our dinners. While the food quality was acceptable, the slow service was not. We will be reluctant to come here again, and are telling all of our friends and family to avoid this restaurant. What a pity!
