Upon arrival was seated promptly (in accordance to earlier completed open table reservations). However wait staff seemed overly busy, we ordered drinks( waited), ordered appetizers ( waited), finally placed order for dinner ( waited). Service was just not as fluid as before. Hopefully just an off evening

Food was cold, wrong wine was brought to table after 15 min wait. Bill was wrong but adjusted correctly. After we paid and were ready to leave they brought the correct wine!

Our server took about 10 minutes to greet us then disappeared for about 20 minutes while we were waiting for the check. No plates cleared during the meal. We go to Brentwood often with the service a primary reason. This was a lackluster experience

Food is always good. Service started out well but quickly went downhill when server had additional tables. No checking on us, no water no check. And there never seems to be a manager in the house. I don’t know how this restaurant keeps going: nothing like the old Houston’s concept that we went to for over 30 years. And no one ever acknowledges these comments.

Original server took our drink order and food but didn't translate to next server. For some reason the next server who was lovely didn't get the important details of our sauces/condiments and wishes. The manager even came by and I asked her for the dressing but it never came. The chicken tenders which were quite costly were 90% fried as I bit into them I struggled to find the actual chicken. The also costly asian noodle salad was very small, about 1/2 of my lunch portion I had there a couple months ago. Not a great value. Service was slow, my diet coke sat empty on the table throughout my entree and into dessert. When you pay $20 for chicken tenders you'd expect them to have actual chicken in them. And likewise, $25 for a salad as an entree, you'd expect for it to be substantial enough to fill you up-especially since you've had the same exact salad for an entree months before for lunch! I do really like the restaurant, although it has a limited menu-they should have soups available all the time not just at lunch. The dessert menu has grown, which is good, but it's still not quite hitting all the marks for me.

The food was very good and the service, as always, was excellent. Price is an issue for us so we check websites and Yelp for prices. We were shocked to find menu prices, especially alcohol, considerably higher. Drinks were 4 + dollars higher. Food was not as extreme. We like the place so when we come back probably stop for cocktails somewhere else prior to dinner.

They got rid of the Brentwood salad, I won’t go back now. Food was mediocre. They never have the grilled artichokes. Drinks were very good though!
