The food was delicious. I had the Crispy Duck, and my wife had Steak. We tried each other's meals, and I honestly couldn't tell you which one was better because they were both delicious. Our waiter, Ezra, made us feel comfortable and gave amazing suggestions about their large menu. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

This is a great French restaurant. They have an extensive menu with so many items that sounded wonderful. We had the most amazing lunch. We opted for shareables. We had the escargot (yummy, right amount of garlic), the charcuterie platter and added three cheeses. My husband added the pork special of the day and was delighted with it. We munched away while drinking champagne. Food was excellent as was the service and atmosphere. All the while we listened to french love songs and other classics. We are just sorry we found it on our last day in San Antonio or we would have gone back for dinner.

I’m not sure what is going on with the host at this restaurant, but he’s basically unpleasant. We had a reservation for an outside table at 11:15 for brunch. We arrived appropriately a half hour early and let him know we were aware we were early, he asked us to wait until 11 to be seated, no big deal. It was odd however since the restaurant was empty especially where we wanted to sit. We went to the farmers market and walked around. Honestly mom Chou Chou was lucky we kept our reservations as there was plenty of good food at the weekend market. Had a drink outside instead of having one at mon Chou Chou at their empty bar. When we arrived back he sat us at an extremely small table inside after chastising us for having our empty drinks, that we were looking to throw away. I love the food here. We have been many times, not sure how many more times I can put up with this unpleasant host however. Honestly I’m not sure we will be back. I felt like I was being punished for some unknown infraction

Wonderfully prepared classic French dishes. Lovely and vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended for a special night out, a business meeting or for just plain fun.

We always enjoy Mon Chou Chou. For apps, we like the raclette (they scrape melted cheese onto some wonderful bread) and the escargot! The ambiance is always top notch and the service is normally great, although a little slow last night.
