A very quaint restaurant in a great location in Pearl! My sister and I celebrated our birthday! Awesome food and music! Loved it!

This restaurant is always busy. They mostly handle it very well, but there were some snafus. A long wait for a 2nd drink. Very undercooked chicken, and bland chicken cordon bleu, a salade Lyonnaise with just a bit too much mustard and cheese "croutons" that were huge and bread croutons that were soggy. Other comments regarding the duck and salmon were "it was ok". The onion soup was exceptionally good, and there were no complains about the desserts! Service was fine and everyone was very helpful and pleasant. It was too hot to eat outside, but that is our preferred place to sit, if possible. You can actually have a conversation. Inside is very lively and very noisy. All in all, it was a good, not great, experience.

We had a great experience at Mon Chou Chou, but we always do! The daily prix fixe at $22 is terrific value for salad, main, dessert and tea/coffee. Not only is it great value, but it was delicious. I recommend the salmon with lentils. The fish was cooked to perfection. The sauce was creamy and tasty. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. We will return again.

I wanted to like this place. The service was good even though it was crowded. Here were my issues: 1. Really loud. 2. Overpriced for very mediocre food. 3. Worst Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. 4. Asked for craft ice for a bourbon neat and they charge $1 more for craft ice. We laughed out loud. For this type of restaurant to serve craft cocktails with regular ice that waters down a drink and then when we ask for craft ice…get charged a premium. Laughable in today’s modern cocktail bars. 4. My group was a lot of fun and we had a great time together. But the restaurant can definitely do better on all levels.

The ravioli app is delicious-creamy and flavorful. Mac and cheese is perfectly cheesy and yummy. The ribeye was cooked to perfection-medium. It was juicy and melts in your mouth. Our server Loriann was wonderful, absolutely made our dinner great by making excellent suggestions based on our tastes.

A wonderful restaurant with excellent food and very good service. The waiter remembered it was my friend’s birthday. It was not busy on a Wednesday and it was still a bit loud, mostly because of the man one table next to me who lacked manners. The restaurant’s design with titled floors, mirrors, and glass may make it very loud when busier.
