With its own private entrance, the room can be transformed into a reception style event to accommodate 130 guests.

Didn’t seat us until after 7:30 though we had a 7:00 reservation. No courtesy heads up that the A/C was broken. We sat and sweated most of the evening. Server was slow and there were long delays between checking on us and service was slow. The food was not worth it. The soup was ok but way heavily salted and the shrimp app and pate were not good. Beef in the bourguignon was burnt yet the carrots and onions were nearly raw. Bolognese sauce was ok but the pasta was undercooked. Our table was swarmed with fruit flies the whole time.

This was one of 2 of the best dining experiences we had in a full week in DC. Some restaurants had good food, some good service but this one had both. Excellent food and even better service. Our waiter was the sweetest, attentive and accommodating. I will highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.

I ordered the eggs benedict, and it was absolutely fantastic. The real star of the show, however, was the phenomenal breakfast potatoes! Brasserie Liberte accommodated our party of 10 and consistently kept our water glasses full, ensured we had everything we needed, and just generally ensured a pleasant dining experience. (Additionally, the ambiance and vibe is very classy and fun in a great location!) Cannot recommend enough.

The air conditioning was out in half the restaurant making the other side very noisy Food and service used to be much better. No escargot is embarrassing in a French restaurant. Won’t be going back any time soon

The restaurant adds a service fee that does not appear to go fully to the wait staff. Please charge enough to pay your kitchen staff a minimum wage.

Too many fruit flies/gnats inside of the restaurant. One even flew in my food. It made it difficult to enjoy our meal.
