Sunday lunch, seated outside on a sunny day was nice. Two drinks pricy at around 22 for 2 small glasses of Prosecco. Opted for roast sirloin Sunday lunch - disappointed to say the least. Service as incredibly slow. Beef was tough to cut, roasties like bullets undercooked, 1 quarter of a carrot, some insipid cabbage, undercooked cauliflower cheese and a beef stuffed Yorkshire, that tasted strange, oh and the saltiest runniest gravy/jus. £88 later we left vowing never to return.

We were the only 2 diners in the restaurant for Sunday lunch. I think there was a reason. Our starters were forgettable. My main of the pork roast, if I'd been served it in my hospital bed, I would have rated it as ok but in a £60 ahead restaurant? Also If you're going to do the up-market thing of placing the wine in a bucket elsewhere in the restaurant it would be nice if just once during the sitting someone came and refilled your glasses. We live in Bath and know most all the restaurants Bath has to offer. Avoid this place

Clean clear sensible menu with good variety. Non fussy cooking. Meaty but small Menai oysters were just great. Duck and pork well prepared and presented. Good to have treacle tart too. Acceptable Viognier and excellent primitivo for the price. Very pleasant surroundings, decor and ambience although felt abandoned with patchy service. Would have given 5 stars if we had felt loved. However, the food offering is just what we like so I expect we’ll give Beau another try.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Brasserie Beau. Booked last minute for an impromptu dinner out and really glad we did. Atmosphere and staff were very welcoming and the food was fantastic. We had the pork chop and the venison pave and the doughnuts and the creme brûlée - all delicious. We will definitely be back to try other dishes that took our fancy.

Had a very tasty Sunday lunch and very generous plate of food it was too! Staff were exceptional in their service and friendliness. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

I had two small plates off the menu which were OK. The charcuterie didn't have alot if flavor and the frisee salad was over dressed. The wait staff were friendly it just took forever for anyone to acknowledge you. I waited 20 minutes to get water or a menu and then another 20 for a second glass of wine, hence the fair rating.
