    Alex was an amazing waiter. So personable. Menu was a little limited from my standpoint but we still found some great things.

    Attentive service. Wood fired oysters is an unusual prep and very well done. Hazelnut cske dessert is also excellent but could use a little more Kirsch as a portion was dry but still very good. Scallops with bacon bits and carrots were superb

    I love the Afternoon Tea in The Lobby and meals in the restaurant! Absolutely best in class service, luxury setting, and amazing food & drinks!

    Dined here on New Years Eve with their prix fixe menu and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. First, our waiter Matthew was excellent, kind, and attentive despite the holiday and how busy it was. Second, the food was very good, the portions were generous, and there were some really tasty combinations of flavors like a salad of smoked whitefish and green apple, artichoke soup with black truffle, pistachio crusted lamb chop, etc. The space is tucked away on the 3rd floor of the Waldorf Hotel off Rush Street so the crowd is either from the hotel or from the Gold Coast, worth a stop if your near or if your looking for a space for an event.

    If you are given the Prix Fixe menu when you arrive, ask to see the regular menu. The PF menu for Christmas Day dinner was decidedly un Christmassy (Veal Cheeks? Sea Bass or pasta)and extremely expensive $199 for 3 courses. When we saw other dishes being served to diners, we asked about another menu and ended up with a much better meal as a consequence. Also, they should teach servers how to open Champagne properly. Turn the bottle while holding the cork.
