Bramley is a neighbourhood restaurant nestled in the heritage town of Abbeyleix.
Husband & wife; Sam & Emily Moody have undertaken a careful and considered refurbishment of this historic space to create a relaxed-elegant dining room re-capturing the feel of the late Victorian/early Georgian building.
An updated kitchen will celebrate Irish food using the very best of Laois’ larder & exceptional Irish suppliers. The menu is simple, seasonal, exciting and diverse.
Everybody is welcome to dine at Bramley; a friendly, relaxed & knowledgeable team allow guests to enjoy an at-ease Lunch or Dinner experience.

Organic chicken for mains was succulent.The starter Goats cheese moose with tomatoes was so fresh. Apple cider moose for dessert was tangy and so light.Loved loved everything.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. We went for the tasting menu. Highlights were the heirloom tomato starter and the halibut.

Bramleys offer a fabulous tasting menu that is well worth it. In addition, they will wine pair if requested and have an excellent selection of wines to pair with the tasting menu. You won't be disappointed. The Halibut was my favourite dish but all dishes were excellent.

We loved our meal in Bramley. There is a relaxed atmosphere and it is not pretentious in any way. The service is efficient and not intrusive. The help with choosing the wine to go with the dishes was most helpful. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed each course. The only problem was fitting in the chocolate desert after so many courses! We would love to go back.
