Food was fine. Service was great. But it was so loud. If you’re looking for a place to have a conversation, this isn’t it. if you want to have a drink and watch the games, I’d recommend

Food was good, service was slow. We were told they only had two people serving so it would take a little while. The bartender ended up serving us and working the bar, he was busy but pleasant. Think they just weren’t prepared for the parents and students coming in for summer B move in . I’d give them another try though. My boys LOVED the food

Die hard FSU fan. Wanted to love this place. The restaurant is beautiful. It would be awesome on a fall day. But a Florida summer it’s a bit warm. Food isn’t bad. My server seemed more suited for a librarian than a server at a college bar. But I have to point out the volume. OMG!! The TVs are ridiculously loud. I get it’s a sports bar. But my ears were ringing like I had just been to a concert when I left. We joked it would have been believable that we were being pranked. If you go, and you want to have a conversation. Sit outside. Or down the road. Or a block away.

Order up the wings and cheese sticks! Great place for a cool vibe with music, fun and sports. Great for a pre game drink and appetizers! The manager is on top of everything and strives to make it great! Will be back!

The food was terrible. Several items on menu were not available. Server was good, and was trying to be accommodating. I ordered a glass a wine and it had flies in it. Atmosphere is fun and probably good for appetizers and to watch a game.

This ultimate location and the good is not good! Tried several things and we were all very disappointed. The servers were abundant yet inattentive and very slow. As life-long Noles and with this name- sad. DJ was way too loud and it’s not even a good bar… Such potential due to location….

This wasn't a restaurant as much as a concert venue with mediocre, overpriced bar food that took over an hour to deliver. Our reservation was for 7:45PM on a Friday night. We arrived at 7:40 and were seated within 10 minutes in the outdoor patio area on a beautiful Spring night. Thankfully, the weather was nice because the next hour included a rowdy college-aged party, a fire alarm that blared for over 15 minutes, and the unfathomable hour-long wait for even a crumb of food to feed my starving kids who usually eat at 6PM (we were at the half-way point on our drive to Orlando). I can understand that they were busy, but how does it take an hour to get a pretzel (our "appetizer")! The rest of the food came out quickly after that and we were eager to finish up and get back to the hotel. The live music was unexpected, but quality. Our server, Chris, did an excellent job of serving us, keeping us updated, and trying to keep us calm as we waited. We read other reviews while waiting for our food and saw that this is a common complaint at Bowden's. My family will never forget the experience, but we also won't return.

Brian, I am so sorry you didn't have the experience you and your family were looking for when you visited. Friday nights in a college town are very lively, which accounts for the volume, but that is no excuse for the delays you experienced in receiving your food. Please accept my apologies. Love the ambiance outside! They had a band, Gambling on Credit, playing when we were there. They're outstanding! Nothing beats sitting outside with a drink, listening to a great band.
