Probably the best steak we have ever had. We took the 46oz porterhouse which was cooked to perfection

Great service, food was excellent, server explained all of the cuts from the sharing board very well etc, sharing steak definitely worth it great value, would 100% come back

Celebrated my birthday here. Staff was super friendly and professional. Steak was delicious and cooked well, however the chips and peppercorn sauce were way too salty. Was also charged for the dessert that they said would be on the house.

Four of us dined last Wednesday night after reviewing in UK before travelling. Out of Four Steaks two rumps, one ribeye and a fillet! only one rump remained on the table! fillet tough/ chewy, Ribeye half fat & grisly and rump(chef cut) was blue not medium rare. Although we did get offered alternative and rump flashed again! we were very disappointed with the meal but especially how the manager? made us feel a minority & made out we didn't know what we were ordering. Basically not a pleasant person. we were charged for the cheapest two of the four steaks although only three of us actually ate a steak. Either we are spoilt in Devon UK or the meat they served wasn't Irish beef but Argentinian like the prawns being offered along with steaks.

Two excellent medium rare rib-eyes accompanied by beef dripping chips and onion strings. Slight mix-up as one of our steaks arrived medium but was immediately returned to kitchen by our server to be replaced and was not charged on the bill. New steak arrived accompanied by a fresh side salad (also not charged for) within 10 minutes. Table space is limited, certainly at tables for 2. Bit of a draft whenever the main door opened. Toilets are located in basement and could be a problem for the less mobile. Overall a positive experience and we will be back.

Friendly, professional staff and the food was excellent. The dark decor made the place look a bit cold though! The sitting area for two needs to be bigger I would not be comfortable having a meal and doing acrobatics movements not to drop anything of the table as it’s really small. I’m glad we had booked for 3 people and our friend did not joined us on the evening, therefore we had plenty of space. Could not fault the food or the staff members
