Welcome to Bóveda where we invite you to live an experience where the classic and the modern come together. The innovative space located in the heart of San Juan’s financial district, presents the fine dining cuisine of Chef Carol Reyes.

Bóveda offers an elegant, modern, and at the same time, relaxed atmosphere, which serves as a framework to showcase the culinary talent of Chef Carol Reyes.

Her fine dining skills, high standards and meticulous execution are the result of many years training with the best chefs in Puerto Rico. We invite you to discover her talent and enjoy Bóveda’s fine dining cuisine inspired by Spanish gastronomy.

The ambience at the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous and very aesthetically pleasing, unfortunately that’s the only good thing about this restaurant. when my wife and I arrived for our 730 reservation at 8 PM the host gave us an extremely dirty look And shook her head in disappointment . this immediately put a bad taste in my mouth. It took me forever to find this because it’s inside of Plaza and doesn’t have its own parking lot or any signs indicating where the restaurant is .i added a very descriptive note to my reservation that insisted on a really nice table because it was my wife’s birthday . We felt like we were being punished for being late, and the host gave us the worst table . She said that it was the only table available and that was the only section that they would be seating so my wife and I sat down . She proceeded to walk past us with multiple other parties getting seated in a nicer section . My wife and I were the only table sat by the bar area. No other parties were sat in that section . it was very unwelcoming and unpleasant. The bartender who ended up being our server because of the table we sat at was actually very helpful about the menu and kind. I ordered one appetizer and one round of drinks before I decided to leave the ambience in this place is beautiful, but the island has so many other options with excellent hospitality . I’m not sure if management was present because no manager came to check in with us even after I expressed my concerns to the bartender and why I was leaving. My wife and I both work in restaurant industry so we know that that is no way to treat a guest . my wife found another local restaurant called la Alma vieja luckily they let us sit 30 minutes before closing and we had an amazing time there.

The service was incredible, communicative and proactive staff. The food was so good, neatly priced. I’ve gone to less beautiful spaces and have paid a lot more for the food. The ambiance makes the space more enjoyable.
