Located on Frankfort Avenue restaurant row in the historic Clifton neighborhood, we offer more than 130 bourbons, as well as a selection of antique expression whiskies that you won’t find anywhere else.
Bourbons features upscale dining in an elegant but casual atmosphere and a bourbon-inspired seasonal menu graced by southern inspired cuisine.

Steak was great, however sides over seasoned and under cooked. Server was great and never had to ask for anything.

I loved that Jeremy the executive chef took time to describe the menu to us personally. We ordered the shrimp and grits, steak fritters and ravioli to share. Fabulous to have a little bit of each. We started with goat cheese spread which was delicious. Lovely festive atmosphere. I took my daughter to celebrate passing her nursing boards and I am glad we did. We had fun!!

This gem is located in a bustling neighborhood. You might need to search the side streets first parking, but it wasn’t too hard to find a spot on a busy Friday night in late June. The restaurant is very cozy and comfortable. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, bourbon, and wine while being very friendly and attentive. My wife had the rich and delicious shrimp and grits, while I had the salmon with a creative succotash. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the Carmel coated popcorn ice cream special topped everything off perfectly. An all around great evening.

We had an incredible experience at BB last night!!! Our server Pam was very attentive. We love our food and wine! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We cannot say enough good things about the meal we had last night at Bourbons bistro. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. Hands-down the best steak I’ve had in Louisville since moving here a year ago. My partner had the pork chop and it was also incredible. 10/10 meal.

Patience was a great waitress! The host staff were phenomenal per usual. Another great visit. Mussels are a must. Filets were cooked to perfection. Bourbons Bistro is our go-to for a date night.

The shrimp and grits was awesome. The grits were smooths and the sauce was perfect. I was concerned that the Cajun sausage would make the whole dish too spicy, but it blended well with the sauce. My daughters had a juicy hamburger and the ravioli: both really enjoyed their entrees. My husband had the pork chop and said it was delicious as well. The drinks were great as well we really enjoyed the Lily Bourbon was great.
