    Fabulous meal and service, every course was delicious, our shrimp cocktail, salads and walleye entree were prepared perfectly, our compliments to the chefs. Our server Claire was outstanding and made our evening special. Thank you!

    Food was good as usual but miss the free bread and the tastes of something special that day. It is no longer unique.

    We go to 72 about once a month,especially for the Walleye, but everything we've had has always been great. Lately, We've had issues with the Hostess area. They don't seem to pay much attention to request .ade on open table. I us open table a lot,but a m thinking the request you make on open table are not communicated to the proper people. Long story but, we are extremely disappointed with the communication between open table request and the restaurant. Service and food is always great,but be carefully of making request to the restaurant on open table

    We normally love Bourbons 72. We’ve been regulars for years… but the last couple times we dined there, the food was mediocre.. nothing like it used to be. Service is up and down and not 5 star like it used to be. It used to be my fave restaurant but not sure if we’ll dine there much anymore unless it improves. 😕

    Things went poorly from the start. We arrived when the restaurant opened, there were no other patrons at the time. Our waiter, a young man whose favorite terms seemed to be um and huh, started off by not being able to take our order because he didn't have a pen. That was rule number one as a server back in the day, but apparently not as important these days. So he finally got around to taking our order. Then, when you heard the kitchen call his name and tell him that our appetizer was ready. Sadly the manager/hostess had him busy setting up a table for 10 people, so by the time we got our appetizer it wasn't even nearly hot. But at least that table of 10 was set up even though no one ever showed during our time there. So from there we order our steaks, at a steakhouse. Mine was so undercooked it was inedible and I sent it back to the kitchen. By now. I'm so disenfranchised with the place that I refuse the opportunity for them to cook me another meal because I know what goes on in kitchens. So he inquires as to our satisfaction with the meal and I tell him that it's been a disappointment since we got there. I also left the manager/hostess know that she shrugged it off. When I told the young man that our appetizer was cold. He asked me if I wanted the restaurant to take it off of our tab. I told him that I will allow the restaurant to make the proper decision, and they didn't. They charged me. We ate it but it was cold and in this casino's signature restaurant you would think they would be able to cook a steak, you would think that the waiters could be focusing on customers, and not setting up tables for people who never arrive. It sure seems that table should have been set up before they opened the restaurant. The manager/hostess obviously still clueless asked us how we enjoyed our meal, I told her it was terrible. I told her we would not return but I congratulated her on making sure that a table for ten who never showed up was taken care of. This is not the

    I’ve been to Bourbons at least 10 times. We always had a great experience until we went last Friday night. Service was slow, they seemed understaffed. I sent my Filet back, Ordered it Medium and it was very rare. Nothing seemed to go right that evening. Hopefully it was just a bad night and not the “New Normal”. Our favorite waitress Clair wasn’t working and i saw a lot of unfamiliar faces. I’ll try again and hopefully it’s a great experience as it once was. Multiple great experiences verse one bad experience definitely deserves another try.

    A steak house should know how to cook beef. Most enjoy a steak/ prime cut of beef prepared medium rare as was my request. The prime rib was basically raw. Sending an order back to the kitchen risks any sort of ire. AND I would have been waiting while my spouse ate alone then eating alone myself. NOT why people go out for dinner.
