Located on First and Main in the heart of downtown Napa and housed in an historic 1880’s building, the Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ has been voted “Best Wine Bar in Napa Valley” for years running. The old-West themed Wine Bar features an incredible wine list, over 40 wines by the glass with tasting flights, artisan beers, and a full lunch and dinner menu created by Chef Mark Johnston. The Beef brisket, Pulled pork, and our signature Beer can chicken are the best in the West! The Wine Bar is open late on the weekends, which means you’ll have plenty of time to rub elbows with some of Napa’s local winemakers.

Of course, the main reason to come to Bounty Hunter is the wine. Wine connoisseurs will not be disappointed with the variety, as there are over 400 highly allocated wines adorning the shelves for retail purchase or to enjoy while dining with us. For those looking for something a little more stout, Bounty Hunter curates some of the best whiskeys in the world.

Not many choices if you have any food issues. Not sure about the miscommunication but we got a charcuterie board and salad and were piecing together a meal due to the limitations for one of the party. I ordered the brisket and never got asked about sides and I didn't ask about sides. Anyway a bit of confusion on a few items nothing really bad about the food except we got a charcuterie board and the bread tasted and felt day old. The brisket came out cold but again not sure I oredered right. Good drinks good vibes energetic waitress.

Sadly the food has taken a turn… and not a good one. Used to be one of our favorites. Brisket was terrible, chicken was mush. The pulled pork was the only edible part of the meal.

The entire experience was outstanding. Service was spot on with friendly attentive staff and exceptional food quality and quantity. Recommend as a must-do when in Napa.
