Depuis son ouverture en 1993, le restaurant Boulevard a été reconnu comme l'un des meilleurs restaurants de San Francisco.     MAX 12 guests: The wine vault is a semi private space near the main dining room that seats up to 12 guests. There is a minimum food and beverage spend of $2,200 regardless of the number of guests. There are ADDITIONAL fees of 8.63% tax, 6% SF Mandates and a 23% service charge. These fees are non-negotiable. The menu offered is the same as the dining room (a multi-selection prix fixe menu). Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance will be charged $750. Corkage is $50 per bottle for the first two, then $75 per bottle after. Please note the room is actively used as a wine cellar during service. There is no additional space for a reception.

All tables are reserved for a maximum of 2 hours. Two courses per guest, appetizer and entree. Dessert optional/additional. All guests must participate. Price is $135 plus 6% SF mandate, sales tax of 8.625% and 22% service fee. (Total price for each guests is $184.44 per person for the two courses) Additional purchases will also incur the same fees and charges. Cancellation is $100 per person if cancelled within 48 hours. NO exceptions will be made to our cancelation policy. We cannot accommodate alium, dairy or vegan restrictions for this evening.

    3 stars at best. Fantastic view of the Bay Bridge, if you sit by the window on the Embarcadero. But the food was very hit or miss. The pork chop is fantastic, while the hen was overcooked and bland. The profiteroles were tough and crunchy, maybe a day old. The burrata was fantastic but the crab was fishy tasting. Etc. Overall, unfortunately somewhat disappointing.

    Constantino was terrific and guided us through our preferred selections for a perfect meal. it was fun to see the lovely decor and so much more of holiday lights and accessories than two weeks ago. Very festive and fun ambiance.

    Boulevard is always fabulous. We come here every year, for our Birthdays and other special occasions. The food, ambience and service are a 5 star experience. It is our favorite restaurant in San Francisco.

    Always delicious, well prepared and presented dishes but portions are too generous. I could not finish the main course even though it was delicious.

    We've enjoyed Boulevard a couple of times in the past; this most recent experience did not disappoint, though there was a bit of sticker shock ($650 for 3 people, tip included). And we did not order any special wine. But prices are high everywhere now--and the quality and presentation of the meal along with top-notch service made for a very special evening. I chose a starter of lobster bisque/bread pudding with quail egg and lobster hollandaise. The dish, beautifully presented, was unbelievable--far more lobster than I'd expected--creamy and delicious. Only issue--it was a bit cool, just over room temperature. Still, very good. The pork chop, recommended by our server as their "signature dish" was also excellent. I imagine it was sourced from Niman or a similar place that allows pigs more space to move around. As a result, the meat was not especially tender, but very moist--and perfectly complemented by the sauce, roasted yam and other vegetables. Presentation was lovely too. But the service! Attentive without being fussy; we were greeted by almost every staff person as we walked in (and they were busy). We never had to ask for anything and the server spent some time chatting with us about her passion for working there and her views on other restaurants. She said the owner is not focused on getting that Michelin star--but is filling a niche in between that level and more down-to-earth fine dining. Truly memorable evening!

    Our entire dining experience was beyond amazing. Desiree, our server was so knowledgeable, personable and professional. The starters were the most outstanding components of the meal, followed by the wine pairings with our main dishes. The mains were yummy also. We had the filet and pork chop, cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful and noise-free. We sat in the lounge and enjoyed the ala cart menu.

    My favorite place to go for a special meal during Christmas! Boulevard is in a beautiful historic building very near the Ferry Building and seems to have spared no expense in decorating for the holidays. The place is awash in a cheerful warm glow, in the windows are beautifully placed wreaths, garlands, hanging glass snowflakes, pinecones, and decor including glittering Christmas water lanterns. The staff are attentive and friendly. We had a three course prix fixe meal that had tempting options. Our group of four enjoyed our meal, especially the scallop with oxtail and beetroot risotto appetizer as well as the rose apple tart and molten lava cake for dessert. The only picky criticism on my end is that I thought the Pearl Hen and Filet of Beef should have been a bit more heavily spiced (we’ve had the beef before when we came in the summer and it was more flavorful). However overall, I absolutely love and highly recommend Boulevard.
