The hotels 140 seat signature restaurant, The Beachside, focuses on delicious, locally sourced ingredients. The Beachside Restaurant enjoys a relaxed ambiance where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner complemented by beautiful decor and impeccable service. All guests are required to wear appropriate smart/casual dress (beachwear not permitted) at all times when using the bar and restaurant.

In the interest of all our customers, we welcome only those guests aged eleven and above in our Beachside Bar after 8pm. Children younger than eleven are welcome to dine after 8pm only when accompanied by an adult and dining in our Beachside Restaurant.
The A la carte menu is offered daily in the Beachside Restaurant from 5pm to 9:30pm, with the Beachside Bar offering a food menu from 12 noon to 10pm daily.

The filet steak was perfect. We ordered one med/rare and one well done and they were both delicious and perfectly cooked. It was my partners birthday and they kindly brought him a large plate with a birthday message and a small cake. The starters were underwhelming. Both starters (one beetroot, one scallops) were teeny tiny, not good value at all. I received 3 scallops but I'd describe them as one plus two halves. The beetroot started was barely more than a few slivers of beetroot in a circle on a small plate. A warm bread roll would have been a nice addition. Service was fine. As mentioned, the birthday message was a lovely touch, but other than that the service was basic. Can't recall that anyone even checked if everything was OK with the meals. For the steak alone, I would come back here. Service and starters were fine, but if they could be improved it would make this an exceptional restaurant, something I think Blackpool is crying out for.

Breakfast was lovely, choice for dinner was very poor, it was lovely food but just too fancy. A few good quality traditional dinners would be great. Food in Blackpool near the Hotel is very poor, so we would have loved to eat in the Hotel but the food was not food we would eat. We do like quality food but more traditional, service was great, cleanliness and over all look was beautiful, the dinner choice really let it down for us.

The restaurant itself is an excellent location with amazing views of the promenade. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. We dined on a Saturday evening and I would have expected the venue to be busy with a lovely atmosphere. At one stage though, we were the only table in. Which was a shame, as it it didn’t have that buzz. The menu, dining layout and pricing all fairly high end IMO. The food was a game of two halves though. Starters nice, although massive (half a cauliflower), duck starter lovely, fillet steak delicious, sides again massive (definitely order one between two) and the honey roast roots dry and unpleasant. Kids menu again hit and miss with unpleasant garlic bread to start, followed by delicious sausage and mash. The waiter suggested this was a new menu, and it felt like it needed a few tweaks. Overall we did have a lovely evening, but definitely things to be improved upon here.

We booked expecting the 'full menu' as advertised by their website. We were told on arrival that this wasn't available till after 4pm and only the bar/lounge menu available. This was limited but fine if that's what you had expected. They did to be fair agree that the website was wrong and would be altered. The food we had was 'fine', just not what we had expected. Only ones in at that time of day. 1.30 on a Sunday.
