The food was just ok. Staff and service excellent. All felt a bit rushed though. No rest between starter and mains.

Excellent all round - waiters friendly and efficient without hurrying us despite being very busy. Food (three different starters and three different mains in our party of 4) all delicious and portion size perfect. We hadn't met for a year and so wanted a good chat and the noise level was perfect - no obtrusive background music and just gentle chat from other tables so we had no problems hearing each other! And I really enjoyed the cocktail - pink spritz - areal treat! Will definitely return.

We dined at 12.30pm in a quiet time and had bouillabaisse as our main course which was outstanding as was the apple tart to follow.

We went for a birthday meal. The food was delicious. The staff are very friendly and happy. We felt relaxed and had a really enjoyable experience. We had the three course set menu and it was very good value. We will definitely come again.

French Onion Soup was the best we have had in UK. The Steak Tartare was first class, and the Chicken Paillard was also excellent. The cheeseboard was very good although I wish it had come with bread rather than biscuits. Wine was resonably priced for a very good Merlot.

Friendly and welcoming. Accommodating of our tardy arrival. Happy to toast some brioche that arrived under toasted. Good value (especially for London). Very good service; attentive without being over eager. I've been to BV lots of times over the years and it's never failed to deliver a good experience.
