This was an absolutely wonderful experience - as always. Authentic French cuisine in a delightful setting. Friendly staff and amazing food - what more could you want.

Best food in the area and the service is great. We had the best meal there last night, and we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep.

We’re lucky enough to be regular visitors to Bouchon and last night’s meal was as outstanding as ever. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious.

Having lived in the area just over 20 years and passing this place quite often, thought we would give it a go. As much as it was a little more than the usual 'average' final bill, the experience was amazing and good to try at least once. The food was expertly prepared, excellent choice cuts of meats, well presented dishes, quality veg that was cooked 'just right'.... meant this experience was well worth the visit. I had the French Onion Soup and my good lady had the Souffle to start.... both excellent. For main's we had Mousles and Frites and the Lamb. Both very tasty and portion sizes about right. A good wine list, a good (small size) beer choice, and a really nice relaxing candlelit ambience. Weill defo return with friends. Thank you Bouchon.

I chose from the Prix Fixe menu which was excellent value. The food was delicious and service attentive. I'm not surprised the restaurant was busy. It's a great place to eat in Hexham with a really nice atmosphere and a good selection of wines. 10/10
