BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic drinks, a beverage program that boasts an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature cocktails. Surrounded by walls of majestic wooden-framed mirrors and original Belle Époque posters, seating at our Union square location varies among pristine white marble and wood bistro tables, cozy burgundy leather booths, a 32ft. handmade pewter bar, and an option for a 40-guest private room, to make the 222-seat restaurant feel timeless.

The food was amazing!!!!! We were in a rush heading to a browse show. We gave ourselves an hour and 15 mins. We have finished a bottle of wine among 3 people and our food still didn’t arrive. I asked if we could just have it packed as to go but then it arrived as we needed to leave. I then asked our waitress if she could bring boxes so we could package up the sides and go. She has no urgency and kept telling us we should have told her we had to leave earlier even though we did. We also paid for the meal when the appetizers came and placed our full order at the beginning explaining we were in a rush. The food and ambiance was amazing but the courtesy of our waitress was not the best experience.

Always a great time! The escargot and seabass were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

Excellent food and service. The desserts are top class. The 50% discount on the wine bottles is very attractive ! We will definitely come back.

Main course came when we were still eating starters. Main dish (chicken) was extremely dry. We got an Irish coffee for compensation which was cold. Overall, very disappointing experience!

Price quality is way off. We thought it was too loud, service was too slow. We waited for at least an hour for our food. And quality of the food unfortunately below expectations.
