BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic drinks, a beverage program that boasts an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature cocktails. Surrounded by walls of majestic wooden-framed mirrors and original Belle Époque posters, seating at our Union square location varies among pristine white marble and wood bistro tables, cozy burgundy leather booths, a 32ft. handmade pewter bar, and an option for a 40-guest private room, to make the 222-seat restaurant feel timeless.

Excellent meal with a friend. We had the duck confit and the salmon. Both were excellent. Manager Austin was very welcoming and helped us with our choices. Bartenders made great drinks. Will def be back.

They took about 20 minutes to take my order and this is after me flagging down a waiter, part of the Duck mousse was oxidized, the salmon was dry and one side was brown and over cooked, no dessert was offered, I had to walk to another waiter to ask for my check. Food was mediocre and service was terrible. Only reason I left a minimal tip was because waiter gave me new silverware.

My husband and I had an amazing New Year celebration. A huge thank you to the Ukrainian hostess for securing us the perfect table at the restaurant. We enjoyed a romantic yet festive dinner, and she suggested several delightful dishes that we tried and loved. This is my favorite restaurant, and the food was simply outstanding!

Had a great experience Came a little early , sat at bar. Bartender has been there for 6 years , great guy The host in front was very nice and escorted us to our table as soon as it was ready Our waitress and staff where very accommodating water glass was never empty Price was great for NYC , and the food quality was terrific All in all had a great time and thankful to the staff for excellent service

Good French Bistro food. Coq au vin is the first dish I’ve had here that is disappointing. Thick flour thickened sauce with chicken overcooked and below average taste

Wonderful dinner with kids tonight. Beet Salad and Filet Mignon were great! Beautiful festive atmosphere for the holidays. I only wish they read my note on the reservation which indicated I was celebrating my 50th birthday. Was hoping for a little candle in a crème brûlée or a complimentary glass of bubbly. Noise level is fairly loud but really nice classic jazz is playing over the cacophony of happy diners.

We went for a holiday dinner with family, we ordered 2 appetizers and 5 entrees with a bottle of red wine and one glass of Martini. We also ordered 3 desserts after dinner. Appetizers are fine, but two of the entrees are a little salty for us(eggplant and scallops). Good wine/drink list, decent environment. Average $100 ppl.
