BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre in the heart of West Village. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. An absinthe-inspired bar offers classic drinks, signature cocktails and craft beers. Located in the building that used to house the prominent Circle Repertory Theater, the 320-seat restaurant provides a diverse array of dining options from the spacious dining room, a seat at the butcher counter, the intimate second-floor gallery with private dining and outdoor cafe.

Really awesome time! The food was amazing and our server was fantastic. However I did take us probs like 10 mins for a server to finally come over and greet us. Maybe we were just in a section that can easily be forgotten about or hard to see. Everything else was fantastic. We loved the wine deal. And the omelettes and potatoes were divine. Our server was super lovely

Excellent old time service and lovely French food. We were a party of 7 ranging in age from 2 to 77 and it worked out great!

Apart from low tide martinis and no Beefeater gin, we really enjoyed our meal. The duck liver foie gras mousse and the escargots were both delicious appetizers. Steak tartare and Niçoise salad for main courses were also very good, classically prepared. The beef bourguignon could have used a few more noodles but was tasty otherwise. It’s a big dining room and very busy but a fun, lively atmosphere.

This is one of the best French restaurants I've been to. The staff was great, the food was some of the best French food I've ever had. I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon, the beef was extremely tender and delicious. I also got a side of their gouda mac and cheese which was creamy and perfectly seasoned. I also had a cocktail and wine. For dessert, I got their chocolate mousse which came with chocolate sauce and a berry sauce. It was one if the best chocolate mousses I've ever had. I highy recommend this place for anyone looking for some really delicious and fancy French cuisine.

Thank you Boucherie for being kind and offering to redo my dining experience with you on your tab. The ambience was cozy and warm. I noticed waiters were not such attentive to me but to the tables around me and the restaurant staff moved quickly and went above and beyond. My mousse the foie gras was fresh and airy and the accompanying soft bread stood warm throughout eating which I really enjoyed. The Saumon Roti held its moisture while being well cooked, tender, and appreciated the thing crisp on both sides of the salmon. Thank you for the crème brûlée—light and flavorful without being sugary overpowering. I also enjoyed the thin layer of crystallized sugar and how easily broke. Again, thank you for redoing my dining experience.
