BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre in the heart of West Village. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. An absinthe-inspired bar offers classic drinks, signature cocktails and craft beers. Located in the building that used to house the prominent Circle Repertory Theater, the 320-seat restaurant provides a diverse array of dining options from the spacious dining room, a seat at the butcher counter, the intimate second-floor gallery with private dining and outdoor cafe. Boucherie has adapted to the current environment to make the dining experience safe for guests and staff.

                  Dined at Boucherie tonight and we were served by Marina. The food and drinks were incredible as was the service. Highly recommend the escargot and steak frites. Profiteroles were also wonderful. Great ambience, great neighborhood, highly recommended.

                  We really enjoyed our time there. The ambience, the atmosphere and the service were exceptional. Our server was friendly and attentive. The foods were excellent definitely we would come and recommend this place. Great choice and thumbs up for the hospitality.

                  Service honestly was not that great. Our reservation was at 1:30 and we didn't get served our appetizers until 2:15 and they were cold dishes such as watermelon salad, gazpacho, carpaccio and beef tartare. I understand it was busy, but no one came by to check in on us and we kept having to flag our server down for water, drinks, bread and when we ordered our wine, they said they'd bring an ice bucket to keep it chilled but then didn't come back until 45 min later and then put what was left (1/2 cup) into an ice bucket which didn't make any sense. My guest ordered the steak au poivre rare and it arrived medium well. We didn't want to risk waiting any longer to have that fixed since it took so long for us to receive our appetizers and entrees, so we just let that go. I'm not sure if the place is understaffed with servers, but it felt so chaotic in the restaurant.
