BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre in the heart of West Village. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. An absinthe-inspired bar offers classic drinks, signature cocktails and craft beers. Located in the building that used to house the prominent Circle Repertory Theater, the 320-seat restaurant provides a diverse array of dining options from the spacious dining room, a seat at the butcher counter, the intimate second-floor gallery with private dining and outdoor cafe. Boucherie has adapted to the current environment to make the dining experience safe for guests and staff.

We had amazing experience at this Boucherie location, ambience is charming, service was great and food is 5 stars! Steak tartare and escargots to start, steak frits as main and crème brûlée to finish. Will come back , highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at Boucherie on Sunday night. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable meal. We started with a few appetizers to share, and each one was delicious—flavors were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. For my main course, I ordered the steak, and it was absolutely perfect—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a treat, and I could tell a lot of care went into each dish. The service was also outstanding, highly recommend Boucherie for anyone looking for an incredible meal!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The octopus was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the steak frites did not disappoint. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place—we’ll certainly be back!

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the service is excellent. In my opinion, food is the most important thing. We ordered steak with some mushrooms, salad, and soup, and the taste was AMAZING! There is really nothing that wasn't good. Portion is perfect, and it was cooked perfectly. No rating can justify the experience we had

Came here for lunch with my friend from work. The food and service was amazing! Ambiance was fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful place. Nice menu. Some of the food was good. Some came out cold. It took over 1.5 hours for food to come out. Nastiest waiter ever. No refills of wine or water. Didn’t take drink orders and he lectured everyone at the table about their orders. Manager was kind and tried to make it right in the end. The jerk vanished once we complained. I don’t think I would recommend going back
