Wow this place has gone downhill and I don’t think I’ll be back. Our friend arrived before us and ordered a drink, then we rested drinks. Hers came 20 minutes after ours and we had to ask for it 3 times. Food arrived 90 minutes after we were seated and the order was wrong. I ordered the special pasta which was supposed to have sausage crumbles and Brussels sprouts. The dish was mostly ground sausage and about 2 Brussels sprouts. Sommelier brought a 2nd bottle of wine and poured into our half full glasses before we noticed it was not the same wine. He was like, “Oh well.” Overall a terrible experience and just as expensive as much better spots.

Rachel I am so sorry to read this and at a loss to explain these issues and will take them up with the floor manager, they really do not reflect our standards of service as you know ---- I assume from the review that it was not your first visit, and I hope it will not be your last. Your feedback is very important, if disappointing, and I hope you will find it in yourself to give us another chance in the future,

Bottino is one of my favorite restaurants, service is always excellent, Anthony, the manager, is always helpful with our wine decisions and is so welcoming. Cocktails at the bar are always innovative and the cacio y pepe is always a favorite.

The setting is lovely, it was a nice day so we opted to sit in the outdoor patio. Our server was pleasant and explained the 1 special. Between the 4 of us we ordered 1 appetizers, 2 soups, 2 sandwiches and 1 pasta. The appetizer, soup and pasta were good. The sandwiches (which were $22 each) were terrible. The breads, which if treated correctly would have been good, were served hard and cold. The actual sandwich fillings were acceptable but the flavors were minimal because they were so cold. Our server had to be reminded twice about drinks we ordered. Though lovely and convenient to many galleries it is not a place to which we will return.

Food and drinks were very good but the cheese plate was overpriced for what you get and they gave you 3 pieces of bread ( which was very good) but not enough as we were sharing a few apps. Asked for more and they brought regular bread instead of the walnut. 2 pieces for a table of 5. Seemed very chintzy considering the price. We sat in the bar because it was last minute reservation but the other rooms looked very pretty.

Great experience here Oct 2024. Great wine selection. Delicious food. Wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful garden. Service was friendly and attentive. The host in particular was warm and inviting, unlike so many other NYC restaurants. Keep up the great work Bottino!

This is a delightful neighborhood gem with a very pleasant garden space available all year and the staff go out of their way to be helpful and nice, and the food is consistently delicious with a changing menu that adds interesting options - we love this place!
