Quite nicely located, next to the duomo, with a cool chill vibe - good music, soft lighting and nice, subtle decor. Food was inventive and different but definitely Italian - kind of a welcome break from the usual. Service was find but it was Sunday night (in mid June) not too busy - but it’s not a place you see easily walking by or know the quality unless you have done some research. Glad we did.

Unici avventori del pranzo , abbiamo trovato il locale in una posizione centrale splendida , la saletta interna con la giusta temperatura e vista sul duomo . Primo di pasta con lime 🍋‍🟩 e gamberetti 🍤. Pasta un po' fredda e ancora leggermente cruda , i gamberetti ,anche se solo 3 molto buoni ma il lime 🍋‍🟩 non pervenuto . Il secondo di pesce (l'avedano) , spinato e cotto alla perfezione ma con una salsina non perfetta . L'antipasto di pesce crudo splendido .

Wonderful menu of local dishes creatively prepared and plates. Hard to beat outside dining across from the Duomo. The lake dish was amazing.

Das Essen war sehr lecker (bis auf die Nudeln der Kinder, die waren zu hart und zu salzig), der Service allerdings nicht so gut. Wir kamen uns wie Gäste 2. Klasse vor (vielleicht weil wir 2 Kinder dabei hatten?). Uns wurde keine Weinkarte angeboten, kein Digestif oder Kaffeegetränk, mein Weinglas blieb bis wir gingen leer und als mir der falsche Hauptgang serviert wurde und ich auf mein Essen noch warten musste hat sich niemand entschuldigt. In so einer Situation hätte ich eine Entschädigung erwartet. Wir hätten gerne mehr Geld ausgegeben, aber so dann eben nicht. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön.

Very loud, menu was very hard to understand, odd menu pairings. Waitress got meals wrong. Offered no compensation. Wine choices very limited.

Regarding the complexity of the dishes, we understand that our culinary offerings can be interpreted in different ways. We are aware that the variety and originality of our preparations may be challenging, but they represent a fusion of modernity and tradition. Our chef and staff are always open to providing further explanations about the composition of the dishes. The wine list is currently undergoing an update, and we hope you will consider returning to visit us.

Our waiter Ashik was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We started with a bottle of wine and the cheese platter which I highly recommend. Lots of variety with several cheeses, figs, friend polenta and local honey. My husband asked for olives which Ashik promptly brought to our table. I had the veggie panini and my husband had the pork tenderloin over mashed potatoes. Both were excellent. Price was moderate for the food quality which was excellent. I would highly recommend.

We found Bottega Comacini Como through Open Table. We were thoroughly delighted with our choice! We sat outside under an umbrella, which not only added to the ambiance, but provided cover when it started to rain. My husband ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer, which had a light batter. His main course was the ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and blueberries, topped with a cherry tomato and raisin sauce. Delizioso! I had the lavarello, which is a locally caught white river fish. It was very light and tasty. I also tried the white wine from Domasino, which uses locally grown grapes from the Como region. The service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. We highly recommend that you include a visit here on your next trip to Como.

Our server was 12/10 amazing! He made the experience above and beyond from any experience we’ve had in Italy. Customer service at this restaurant is 5 stars! Highly recommend!!!!
