Bosscat Kitchen & Libations perfectly meshes upscale and casual dining with an expansive whiskey selection and unique offering of American comfort food. It offers high energy, open spaced concepts to promote a lively dining experience. With the rustic industrial aesthetic, brick metal and barrels are prevalent in the space. One of its best attractions is the famous whiskey room, that houses hundreds of whiskies from several countries. From high end whiskies like Pappy Van Winkle, to a shot of Jameson & Coors Light, there is something here for everyone's taste; and Bosscat prides itself on being this type of environment. New flavors and recipes are often brought into the kitchen. All cooks on staff are encouraged to brainstorm and eat with the executive chef, Peter Petro. This collaborative process is the foundation of their culinary art. Encouraging and fostering new ideas with seasonal produce, meats and spices fosters the fun and unique dining experience they so strongly emulate.

We had a great waitress but the happy hour food was terrible. The location in irvine is by far a lot better.

Overall it was a good experience. I got their Cajun chicken it was pretty tough and dry and the meatball appetizer was a little bland. But their steak and ribeye was really good. So overall was a good experience and will be happy to come back. The drinks were good, especially their espresso martini and the ambiance was very lively, especially for a Wednesday.

Really cool design - enjoyed the rustic industrial look. Terrific attentive service. And fantastic, delicious food. I had the butter burger & waffle fries. My husband had the steak & eggs. We were both very please with our meals. Then we had beniets with lemon curd and marshmallow and coffee. Really satisfied the sweet tooth. We will return to Bosscat!

The craft cocktails were amazing, especially the old fashioned. Definitely try the white fish with mushroom risotto…excellent! Great vibe, pretty loud so conversing can be a bit difficult.

Best service ever! Our waitress was the kindest and gave us a free dessert, which was delicious, for our anniversary! Overall an amazing experience for great priced food!

Just an average experience at Bosscat. The highlights...our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the Orange location history of the building and the person that brought our drinks was hilarious, so a big shoutout to the staff. Of the items our party of 4 ordered, the burger was devoured by one person and the Fried Apple Pie was delicious. The indoor decor is very well done and has a cool vibe, but sadly didn't get to enjoy much of it, as mentioned in next paragraph. So now for the two star deduction...one star taken off for the noise level. The music was so loud inside that we had to lean forward over our table, talk at a vocal cord straining level and still struggle to hear what our party was saying. We quickly asked to be moved to the outdoor area (not the charm of inside) where the music was still loud but manageable. If the music was good that would be one thing, but that night's playlist was cheesy dance music from about 12 years ago. So not relevant and quite annoying. Taking the second star off for some of the food. The spicy chicken cheese dip seemed overly processed and the chicken was minimal and couldn't even taste it - why put a mild shredded meat in a spicy sauce? The Avocado Farm Chop Salad - why is the first description of this salad avocado when I could barely find any? I added the salmon to the salad (a bargain at $8) but it was thin, overcooked and uninspiring. I was just thankful for the protein and the added ingredient, as this salad is really just a whole lot of over dressed romaine and about 3 cherry tomatoes they couldn't bother to cut in half, so they explode under the pressure of your dull knife or in your mouth. I didn't ask the others about their food, so can only comment on the things I tried.

All the many savory recipes we tried were truly unique and completely delightful. We only wished the mud pie was more traditionally created with ice cream.
