Murrieta’s Hospitality welcomes Borough Bar + Grill, inspired by the five boroughs of New York.

Borough Bar + Grill pays homage to the unique North American culinary tradition in a casual yet expressive space. The restaurant features a main dining room and lounge area with floating ceilings, intimate booths for a more private dining experience and a unique chef’s table for large parties.

The restaurant also includes a patisserie where guests are welcomed to grab sandwiches or a coffee for a walk through University District’s many parks and walkways.

1.5 -2 hours for each booking, please call if more time is needed.

Corporate chef Daniel Pizarro has developed a menu as diverse as the boroughs of New York.

Complete with retractable awning and fireplaces the south facing patio is the perfect spot to enjoy Calgary Summers.

All accessible from University Avenue with direct access to Central Commons Park, as well as convenient underground parking with immediate access from the plaza.

We went for Wine Wednesday, and enjoyed a great bottle of wine plus delicious appetizers. The brussels sprouts were probably the best I've had, and the calamari was really tender. It was perfect for a date night, and more affordable because of the half price bottles of wine. Our server was attentive and the general manager gave us great suggestions for food and dessert.

We loved this place and we have and excellent experience, I bring my dogs and was awesome! The food was delicious and the service one of the best I’ve been. We will be back!

Chairs uncomfortable and small. Kitchen was making mashed potatoes and fries but if you switch from fries to mash they up charge you $2. Small time cheap for a place that was $178 for 2 people.

Hi John, Thank you for your review, and I apologize you felt this way about your visit. You didn't leave notes on service, which was also a 2 star in your eyes, and I welcome constructive feedback to share with my team as a one star review is not our normal response from guests. We had your reservation sat as in a booth, which are our most desirable seats (even the half booths on the patio). In terms of the mashed potato charge, yes we are making them throughout the night, but there are more ingredients than just potatoes in this food item (cream, butter, etc) that warrants the extra cost associated. The asparagus and scallop potato sides were good and attractively presented. The plank salmon was moist but not memorable. I was craving something on the side like a citric soya au juice or a creamy balsamic glaze.
