The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Le lieu est tout aussi excitant que les steaks dans cet établissement de Little Italy. Le restaurant Born & Raised détourne le genre du steakhouse à l'ancienne en affichant des photos de légendes du rap dans sa salle à manger entièrement dorée et ultra-glamour. On y trouve les fameuses grillades, ainsi que des chariots qui préparent des cocktails vintage à table. Le résultat est un steakhouse qui en fait trop, idéal pour les plus grands flambeurs.

Good atmosphere. Service was just ok and not what you would expect for the price. Steaks were average and not done to order.

This place was highly recommended for me to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I wish we had gone somewhere else. Seated downstairs. Very dark and very loud. If that’s your thing, you’ll love this place. Highly recommend being seated upstairs. Entirely different (and better vibe.) My wife asked for Medium + on her filet. It was medium to medium - (if there is such a thing)…..but we couldn’t tell (remember it’s dark) until she got 1/2 way through her steak. Plus the steaks were VERY chewy, and not in a good way. A filet should almost melt in your mouth at a place like this. The broccolini was actually very good. Spicy but good!! Lastly, the dessert cart looked fabulous, but the comp birthday dessert (which is nice that that do something like that) was a small macaroon cookie with a candle. Kind of odd. So bottom line: My eyes hurt….strained to read menu and bill. My ears hurt….soooo loud. My jaw hurt….chewy steak. Wallet hurt for what we ordered. We are from out of town and if we’d known…we should have walked the other direction and tried one of the many Italian restaurants in Little Italy.

Excellent restaurant choice to celebrate 🥳 my son's 30th birthday. He loved every bite of his Wagyu steak sampler plate. The whole meal was excellent! Our server Jake was excellent as well. This is our new favorite restaurant, and we highly recommend it.

Cami was excellent in taking care of us. Well timed and knowledgeable. Husband and I started with the blue fin crudo special. It was very fresh and the chopped herbs made it even fresher if thats possible! We shared the T-Bone steak which they sliced for us with added crab legs on the side, roasted mushrooms, and mac n cheese. It was the perfect amount of food. We love the ambiance and beautiful interior. We always sit downstairs in the dining room. This was our early Christmas celebration and our 3rd visit and it was excellent as always.

Food was good , But Salad was not good at all. Food timing is so slow! Even the dessert took 30 mins to come .
