The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Le lieu est tout aussi excitant que les steaks dans cet établissement de Little Italy. Le restaurant Born & Raised détourne le genre du steakhouse à l'ancienne en affichant des photos de légendes du rap dans sa salle à manger entièrement dorée et ultra-glamour. On y trouve les fameuses grillades, ainsi que des chariots qui préparent des cocktails vintage à table. Le résultat est un steakhouse qui en fait trop, idéal pour les plus grands flambeurs.

Food and drinks were amazing. The service and timing of the food was great. We ordered the table side salad and Steak Diana, which was super fun. The bread and Potato Purée was delicious and my NY was cooked perfectly. I suggest getting reservations early and try to get a table upstairs, great views!

Great views. Great vibe. Great drinks. Amazing Mac and cheese. Great ribeye. Loved the hashbrowns. We got the chocolate cake and it was unreal

We had an early Christmas dinner Sunday night and if you are looking for a good steak in SD Born and Raised is the place to go. The food is always delicious and the service is fantastic. Reid was very attentive, kind and informative, and the rest of the staff as well always made sure water glasses were full and the table was ready for the next corse. 10 out of 10.

I ordered the bone-in ribeye cooked medium rare, but unfortunately, it was very tough with a lot of muscle. In contrast, my wife and both of our friends had the filet, which they all said was extremely tender. I even had my wife and friend taste my ribeye, and they agreed it was not up to par. I’m not sure if this was just an off night, but based on this experience, I’d recommend the filet moving forward. Wife's birthday and she had a wonderful time. That is the most important part of the night.

The food and service was excellent! The ambience was absolutely stunning. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. I can’t wait to go back!

Great for date night! We started with the bluefin crudo, main course was the meat sampler, bread, mushrooms and potato puree. All seasoned very well providing explosions of flavor in each bite. Washed it down with the BAR old fashioned.

WOW, another awesome dinner with my son. We dined in the outdoor area with a beautiful view of downtown. This is definitely my new favorite seating area. The food didn't disappoint, we tried different entrees, and all of them were delicious!

Amazing experience!!!! Downstairs is loud, upstairs is heated well, quieter and absolutely perfect! Ask for upstairs / patio. The food was phenomenal, service was perfect (tableside Manhattan was a show and delicious!!!). Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
